Chapter 68

Lisa turned off the engine of her car when they arrived in the beach resort. There are a lot of tourists wandering around the alluring place. The night grows late and it's perfect time to go sightseeing.

"Leave it there. I'll carry those bags once we checked in" Lisa said and put the car key inside her pocket.

"Why? We're going in the separate room" Jennie said while looking straight at Lisa.

"Yeah.. I mean I will drop it off in front of your door, it's pretty heavy.. I didn't know that you put your cabinet inside the bag" She jokingly said to make her smile but Jennie stayed firm, she clear her throat and cough to lessen the awkwardness "Let's go?"

Jennie turned her back and started to walk. She knows every corner of the beach since they've been here for about 5 times. Lisa looked at Jennie's back frame and smile a bit, she'll be with Jennie after three years of being away to each other.

"Good evening Ma'am. May I help you?" The receptionist greeted.

Lisa step in and smile at her "Is there any available rooms? Two rooms" She said.

"Okay we will try to look for it" The receptionist uttered "There's a lot of tourists visited the place so we have to searched"

"Take your time" Lisa replied and looked at her watch, she turned around to see Jennie who's observing the area "Let's eat after we put our things inside the room"

"Okay" She answered and went back looking around, she saunter towards the big brown board where every tourists wrote down everything they wanted to.

"Oh. There's two available rooms" The receptionist said "Unfortunately, the other is the only the Queen bed while the remaining one is a twin bed"

Jennie and Lisa looked at each other then to the receptionist.

"Okay we'll take it" Lisa said, the receptionist gave them the log book before she handed the room keys.

"Room 301 and 306?" Lisa raise her eyebrows and give Jennie the room for Queen sized bed "You have to use that room"

Jennie give it back "No. It's fine if I will use the twin bed besi-"

Lisa didn't let finish her words "You might fall out of bed if you choose it. You're not as firm as what you're right now once you're sleeping, you're moving non stop" She stated and turned her back, she made her way towards the elevator and pressed the button to make it on the ground floor.

Lisa didn't look at Jennie and put her hands inside the pocket. She's busy looking at the number sign above the door to get updated where it is. Jennie slowly closed her first where the key situated before she amble towards Lisa's side, they both waited without talking to each other until the elevator reached the ground floor.

Four persons went out of it, the two waited until there's no more inside. Lisa let Jennie step inside first before herself. As soon as they are inside, she pressed the button where their room place.

"Where do you want to eat?" Lisa asked her.

"Anywhere. Every food they served here is pretty good so I don't have to choose" Jennie answered and sigh.

Lisa bob her head and cough, when they reached the third floor they immediately looked for their room which is only across from each other.

"I'll take your bags once I checked my room" Lisa uttered and smile a bit to Jennie, she tried to put the key inside but it doesn't fit. She tried again and even forcefully pushed her key.
