Chapter 29

Jennie's P. O. V.

After some talks to Dr. Lee, he headed to his ward. He's too busy today that all he can say to Reign is goodluck and don't cry. My son gave him a thumbs up that cause him to laugh.

Only seven patients remaining and we can finally received a flu vaccination. I decided to take it as well so it will be easy to roam around to City without thinking about being sick. I put Reign on my lap and he's well behave today, he didn't left my side and just hug my torso.

I can feel that Somi is stealing some glances on me but I never dare to look back. Her child keeps on whining and it's hard for her to stop him. I look on my watch and it's 10:30 AM, Maybe I can go to work after lunch.

"Mommy Love"

"Yes Love?"

He pointed the emergency room "Have you been there before?" He asked.

I hold his hand and kiss it "Yes, I was afraid that time because I was carrying you. I know you can't understand this but Mommy was thankful because you hung on there" I whispered to him.

The line started to move as the one patient goes inside. We moved our seat so someone can rest on the bench. Reign look at the kid who's looking at him, he waved his hand but the little boy didn't even flinch to wave back.

So that's Lisa and Somi's baby.. He looks like Somi. I smile to him because he's staring at me but he look away. He's kinda snobbish but it's normal to a kid.

"Mommy when they injected me, I will only say Aww but can barely hear" Reign boast himself.

"Then it's good to hear" I laugh and fix his hair.

He swing his legs while waiting. I look in front and caught Somi looking at me for the nth time. She lean forward and asked,

"Is this the last hospital you know?"

"What do you mean?" I asked, since there's one person between us, we both lean forward.

"You're always here.. Why did you choose this? You did it on purpose" She asked.

I can feel the sarcasm on the tone of her voice. I wet my lips and raise my eyebrows.

"I'm sorry? Does it required to answer those nonsense question of yours? I'm sorry but I found it really offending" I replied.

"Maybe.. you're here because you want to see someone you know before?" She flashes a grin and intentionally showed her engagement ring.

"Excuse Miss? But I am here for my baby. I have no time to argue with you and about your question? That someone? Who? Can you tell me who is it? Then I will tell you something after that" I challenge her.

She look at me, raging in fire. I just shook my head and focus on my son. I don't want to cause any trouble while I'm with him. I can't understand why is she being mean to me. I didn't do anything to her.. If I will elaborate everything that they did, I should be the one who should act that way but since I am not that low to bring back the past, I act according to my own profession.

The line moved again, Somi is next. I can't wait to get done and go to work. I'm afraid that Reign might fall asleep because of too much time for waiting.

"Tell Mommy if you want to sleep, okay?" I rub his chin.

"Uhmm" He hummed.

I tap his leg and rub his shoulder to soothe him. I lean my head on the wall and waited for our turn. After how many minutes of waiting, I am the next on line. I can hear some cries inside that cause Reign to alarmed.
