Chapter 63

When Jennie left the house, Lisa plod inside with so much disappointment. She looked so devastated that she wanted to break everything she sees. She looked at her Father who's staring at her as well, she rule out as her become weepy.

"Where's Somi?" He asked.

Lisa didn't speak and walk upstairs. She proceed inside her old room and close the door.

It feels another heartbreak for Lisa. It hurts her so much to the point that she couldn't hear anything other than Jennie's voices. She stares blankly at the wall and pondering over the same question inside her head. Although she's hurt, she embrace all the sorrow as it is her fault in the very first place.

Memories hover and thoughts haunt her. Lisa took her seat on the bed and put her both hands on her head as she looked down on the floor. Tears begin to fall down on her cheeks, another chapter to be listed why Jennie wouldn't forgive her. She doesn't know what to do anymore as another mistake added on her list.

Lisa took out the necklace inside her pocket and put it on her palm. She started to sobs when the initial of Jennie's name showed up. She shakily pull it out from the lace and put it in her finger.

The door widely open as Somi walked inside and saw Lisa who's crying mess right now. She pressed her lips and felt hurt when she heard the convulsive gasps from her.

Lisa didn't look at her and just continue crying. She cover her eyes and bit her bottom lip to restrain herself from snivelling.

"I'm sorry" Somi uttered and close the door.

Lisa wipe her tears and took her deepest breath "I don't want to continue this Somi" She said that made Somi stop from walking slowly towards her.

"What are you talking about?"

Lisa looked at her "I'm tired. I'm tired of this" She sobs.

Somi kneel down in front of Lisa to reach her level and cup her cheek. She shook her head while looking at her through the eyes.

"We will talk about what happened Lisa. I was.. I was surprised on what happened and couldn't control my emotion.. Lisa.. " She convinced her.

Lisa removed her hand and shook her head "I can't stop Jennie if she'll file a case against you. As much as I want to stop her for Liam.. But maybe it's a better way for you to learn a lesson. If you just can feel how angry I am Somi, you will regret on what you did" She replied.

Somi's tears begin to build up in the corner of her eyes "Don't say it Lisa. It's all misunderstanding, don't be mad at me"

Lisa stood up and scoffed "Don't be mad at you? Somi.. He's my son! What word you can't understand?! His asthma attacked him and I don't know what came in to your mind to think about hurting him! Jennie is right, this is unforgivable" She bob her head as a sign of agreeing.

"If you want me to go to her house to apologize, I will. Just don't tell me that you don't want this anymore.. What do you mean by that?" Somi's voice cracked, she's avoiding to cry.

Lisa lean on the study table and looked at Somi first before she looked at her finger.

"I'm not sure about this relationship anymore Somi" She said underneath her breath, she respire and pressed her eyes.

Somi wag her head and take a courage to speak since she couldn't compose a sentence because she's restraining her tears to fall down on her cheeks.

"I-I can't understand L-Lisa" She said and tears finally roll down on her cheeks.

Lisa cry out "I honestly can't understand as well Somi.. I carry all of it since the very first year that we've been together.. The fights and all, I endure it. You never heard me complaining because I was protecting this family.. But I reached my limit.. to the point that I can't convince myself that I'm happy.. " She stated, looking so devastated.
