Chapter 47

The street is peaceful at this hour, few cars are only passing by. The street lights can be seen on every corner of the street. Since it's still cold, everyone is wearing their winter jackets.

"I'll treat you once I got my salary" Jennie said when they walked out of the coffee shop to drink a hot chocolate.

"A large one!" Bobby demand.

Jennie laugh as she took a sip of it "This is so good" She uttered when she swallowed the chocolate.

They walked so slow to enjoy the moment. Jennie wrapped her hands around the cup so she'll feel warmth. Bobby looked at Jennie and smile as he saw how good she's now.

"You feel better?" He asked.

Jennie bob her head "I'm way better than earlier. Do I still look pale?"

Bobby shook his head "Nope. That's why I asked you if you're fine already" He chuckle.

They walked with silence, only the soundd of the insects and beep of the cars have been heard. Jennie is busy cooling her chocolate drink before she drink it while Bobby, he's just staring on their way. Thinking about something.

"Rj.. " He called.

Jennie looked at her "Uhhm?" She hummed.

"You once told me that.. Your past relationship lasted 8 years.. Right?"

"Yes. Why did you ask?" Jennie looked at him with confusion.

Bobby looked straight to their way and clear his throat "So the memories are still fresh? I mean, it feels like yesterday?"

Jennie stop from walking and look everywhere.

"A-Ah.. I'm sorry if.. If I went too far. It's just-"

"You see that?" Jennie pointed the playground with fountain in the middle.

"Yeah?"

Jennie smile forcefully "We used to play there before. Although we're too old for seesaws, swings, slides, climber, spring horses and merry go round, we still rode it. Everything here in Seoul? Each corners? We have memories like first kiss, first date, first road trip, first fight, first tears and everything.. That's how fresh it is" She stated and started to walk again while looking up to the sky.

Bobby followed her until he reached her pace again "Aren't your hurt?" He questioned.

"No. That's life, nobody's permanent. Everybody will leave you so you have to be ready. In my case, I wasn't ready during that time. I was totally out of my mind that I turned my back to everything from my dreams, family and responsibility just to be with her but over all, it's worth it"

"Worth it?" Bobby looked at her with confusion "Because of Reign?"

Jennie smile as she look the ground while walking "Aside from that. You'll only know the worth of your sacrifices when the seed you planted became a fruit and the fruit that I was pertaining is.. The lesson that I learned. You should know your value, every people has value. If everybody can't see it, you need to distant yourself to them because they're not worth it" She explained, there's no pain or hatred drawn on her face as if it's normal to her.

"And I'm proud of you for being so strong" He said.

Jennie smile a bit "Everyone was born with worth so no one should throw you like a trash. We should see ourselves like a gold and we deserve to be treated like a diamond" She wisely said and took a sip of her chocolate drink.

Bobby can't help but to smile at her, he's indeed fascinated not just only by Jennie's beauty but also with her mind and soul. She has a good heart and can blow everyone up because of her characteristics.
