Chapter 21

(Y/n) helped carried the bag of groceries back inside the hotel room. The walk there was a comfortable silence.

When they entered the room they saw Sean gone. (Y/n) quickly set down the groceries and looked around the room. She checked the bathroom, and there standing, Sean's long hair gone, replaced with shortened cut hair. He whipped his head back and ran his hand over his hair.

"How is it?" he slowly asked.

She gave him a big thumbs up. "Looking hot."

He laughed at the remark. Then she realized that they never really kissed except on the cheeks.

She shifted her shoulders. "Come out when you're ready. We... Me and Karen have some news."

"Isabelle?" Sean exclaimed.

Karen flinched. "Sean—"

"That crazy woman who tied me up is with my brother! Where are they?"

"Somewhere safe, Sean. We can go there once we're—"

"No!" he abruptly cried. "No, I want to see Daniel now."

Karen frowned. "Fine, but it's going to be a long drive."

"Why is he so far away?" Sean raised his voice.

"Why would he not when the police is looking for him and his brother?"

Sean stayed quiet. This is it. Once they get Daniel, everything will be alright.

After a long drive, the three of them finally arrived. It was a small cabin near the beach. But how unlucky, because the train tracks are not far away which makes a lot of noise.

"Sean, did you see anything weird when the train ran by?" (Y/n) asked as they got out of the car.

"Sorry, I didn't pay attention..."

(Y/n) thought a bit. And she was silent on the way to the house.

With the door busting open, a small boy opened his arms. It was Daniel, freshened up, and an Isabelle whom's eyes are avoiding (Y/n) and Sean's.

"Sean and (Y/n)!" Daniel yelled.

Both Sean and (Y/n) ran towards him and hugged him tightly.

"Enano, you're safe!" Sean said with such joy.

"I'm so glad you are!" added on (Y/n).

Daniel gasped for air. "Can't... breathe..."

Both Sean and (Y/n) frantically let go of him. They get caught up with conversations, and Sean and Isabelle almost fought every five minutes. Isabelle justified herself but it was never enough for Sean and (Y/n). Luckily, Karen was there to ease everyone down.
