Daniel had never exactly been your average guy, I mean when your job is to jump from town to town killing things 90% of the population don't even know anything about you tend to forget about the normal things in life. What he wouldn't give to settle down, get a himself a nice husband that treated him right maybe a dog and a few kids but the young hunter knew it was a dream he wouldn't achieve. He was born to be a hunter and he'd die a hunter, just like his Dad. Currently, Daniel was travelling down a long country road he'd spent some time piecing together a case in Philadelphia it had been a hard one to spot but at this point he knew what to look for. The case involved an apartment complex where seven women in total had went missing over decades at a time, the police had never really spotted the pattern since it didn't make sense when you were missing pieces of the puzzle. He suspected that it was some kind of vengeful spirit that had it out for young blondes, the black haired man let out a sigh taking a hand from the steering wheel to run it through his hair as he began to enter the big city.

It only took him about 20 minutes to find the apartment complex pulling in behind a stunning impala, he got out admiring the car with envy for a few moments before moving to the trunk of his own car. Inside there was a mixture of different weapons hidden with a fake bottom that was easily removed the walls covered in symbols to protect it from anything supernatural, he moved to grab a bag taking out a lock picking kit as well as a gun checking the ammo he slipped it in the back of his pants covering it up with his shirt. The first thing he needed to do was check out the apartment see if there were any clues of where this thing had taken the girls, he made his way inside subtly avoiding the prying eyes of anyone in the lobby as he made a B line for the stairs. Daniel had done enough research on the building to know where he was going as he quickly arrived at the floor and the apartment in question as he dropped to his knees in front of the door taking out the lock picking kit and getting to work as fast as possible. Eventually, there was a satisfying click that brought a smile to his face as he stood up pushing the door open he briefly caught a glimpse of the apartment before he was shoved to the ground by a strong force face pressed into the ground and a harsh metal being pressed into the back of my head.

"Dean!" I heard a male voice shout out as the front door was slammed shut, my eyes widened at the familiar voice despite it being years he could still tell. Could this really be them?

"Sam." Daniel called out softly still not believing that this could be those boys from all those years ago, he was broken out of the moment when the gun was pressed more harshly into the back of his head.

"How the hell do you know him?" A thick southern voice cut through the air Daniel could feel the anger radiating of him, but that was Dean all over his anger would always come out when it came to Sam. The pinned man let out a breathy chuckle remembering all the times they had been together when Dean had shown off that protective instinct whether it was for Sam or himself.

"I'm offended you don't remember me, D." The hunter said with a smile that neither Winchester could see the pressure was instantly removed from his body as Daniel stood up back still to the brothers. Slowly, he turned to face the two shocked men with a smile it really had been so long since they had seen each other.

"Danny?" Dean questioned staring at the shorter man that he remembered so vividly from his childhood, it was strange to him this way the older Winchester after all this time he still remembered Daniel as the sweet small boy that he used to play cards with when their Dad's went on hunts together. The same boy that offered to sleep with Sammy when he told the two that he was afraid of the dark or the boy that would scold Den whenever he caught him stealing. Dean watched at the man in front of them nodded in confirmation, Sam was the first to moved stepping forward to wrap his long arms around their childhood friend in a sweet hug which the other happily returned.

"I've missed you Sammy," Daniel whispered into Sam's shoulder after a few more moments he pulled away looking the youngest Winchester over not quite believing that this man in front of him was the chubby cheeked little Sammy that he remembered. "But I guess your not really cute little Sammy anymore." He joked with a chuckle as Sam smiled down at him, slowly he turned to look at Dean who was still in shock at his sudden appearance. So he decided to take matters into his own hands walking over to the older Winchester wrapping his arms around the others neck head resting against the other hunters shoulder. It took some time for the other to react, but eventually his arms came to wrap around the shorter man's body.

The hug lasted a minute or two as they reunited, Sam didn't mind though watching on as he remembered how close the two used to be before Daniel left with his Dad. The youngest Winchester remembered how upset Dean had been when the young boy had left with his Dad, he watched as the two pulled away both with bright smiles.

"I'm guessing you two are here for the case too then." Daniel asked as he turned to face the other two watching them both for any sort of reaction.
