Danny was currently sitting in a dinner with the Winchester brothers after they had just recently managing to stop Dean from going down for life, the shorter hunter didn't know what had happened to the brothers before they had met up but you could say that he was surprised when he found out the oldest Winchester was wanted for murder.

"So much for keeping a low profile you have a warrant in St Louise  and are officially in the feds data base." Sam wasn't too impressed by his brothers antics or how calm he was in this situation and neither was Danny.

"Dud I'm like Dillinger or something." Dean said with a smirk as he took a sip from his glass, the shortest hunter turned to him from the seat next to the older Winchester, hitting him in the shoulder earning a wince and a hurt look. "What?"

"This isn't funny Dean we have to be careful now you don't realise how lucky you are that there was a case there." Danny said his tone serious as he glared at the man in question, turning to Sam who was still looking over his computer. "What do they have on you?"

"I'm sure they just haven't posted it yet." Sam told the other hunter still typing away on his computer at the, Dean laughed from across the table placing his glass down on the table.

"Your jealous." Dean said now picking at the food on his plate that remained even though just moments ago he claimed to be full. "What have you got on the case you innocent young man you?" With a sigh Sam began to read off the information they had found on a possible case all signs pointed to a black dog.

"What's the lore on it?" Dean asked Danny this time, they had worked up a little system Sam would research the case and the other hunter would research the look into what they would be going up against.

"Its all a bit hazy one in every culture some think they're spectral dogs others believe that they're death omens or animal spirits." Danny told the two handing over the articles he had found. "But no matter what culture they're in they are big and nasty."

"Yeah and I but they could could hump the crap out of your leg I mean look at that one." He told the other two with a smirk showing the image at the top of the article his brother wasn't impressed however the black haired hunter chuckled slightly at the others antics. Dean looked over at his friend with a smile a strange part of him liking that he managed to make the other laugh.

The group knew that the first place they needed to check was the home of the last person who saw the dog, they were currently in a large house asking his business partner questions.

"So you and Shawn Boyd were business partners for ten years correct?" Sam asked writing everything down in a notebook so we could look over it later.

"That's right." The man we were interrogating asked rubbing the bridge of his noise. "One more time what is this for?"

"A tribute for Mr Boyd, architectural digest" Dean told him with a smile as Danny watched on in confusion as the man laughed quietly.

"That funny to you." The shorter man asked voice serious staring the man down who turned to him when he spoke all of the joking gone when he noticed the other hunter didn't find anything funny about this.

"Its just the tribute," The man said with a sigh something dark coming out as he continued. " Shawn always got the tributes he kills himself leaving me and his family behind and he gets another tribute."

"Right any idea why he would do such a thing?" Sam asked the man giving the other man an exasperated look.

"I have no clue I mean he lived the dream life."

"How so?" Danny asked voice still serious, he was in case mode like a switch in his brain went off telling him it was now that he needed to be serious.

"I mean the guy was a genius I mean I'm capable but compared to him I was nothing. It wasn't always like that either." The group looked at the man to elaborate on what he meant. "You wanna know the truth there was a time when he couldn't even design a pop tab hell ten years ago he was working at a bar called Lloyd's  a complete dive."

"So what changed?" Sam asked staring intently as he still noted things down.

"You got me over night he gets this huge commission and he starts designing the most ingenious buildings anyone has ever seen it was like the level of Van Gough and Mozart" The guy looked at the ground for a moment in brief thought.

"What?" Dean asked staring with curiosity.

"Its funny true geniuses they tend to die young, huh?" The man asked us tearing his eyes away from the ground to look at the three men. "To have that kind of talent, why just throw it away?" Shawn Boyd's business partner seemed to be just as confused about the situation as the hunters were.

The next stop on the case was the animal control centre Dean went into the building to get a list of all the calls relating to vicious dogs in the neighbourhood, when they were following up on the calls most of them were just false alarms and the oldest hunter was getting tired of trecking around the city.

"I swear if this is another barking Pomeranian." Dean announced before ringing the door bell a few moments later the door was opened by a small black haired woman. "Good afternoon Ma'am, animal control." He announced flashing his fake idea the woman gave them a smile.

"Oh someone already came out." She told the group.

"We're just following up, we're looking for Dr Sylvia Pearlman." The woman gave us a disappointed look inviting us into the house to explain the situation.

"I don't know when the doctor is going to be back she left a few days ago."

"Okay and who are you?" Sam asked.

"Oh I'm Dr Pearlman's maid I don't know where she went to she just packed a bag and left. Did you find that stray dog?"

"Um yeah did you happen to ever see the dog yourself?" Sam asked as Danny began to wander eventually coming to a cork board, one picture in particular stood out to me of the doctor herself in Lloyd's the bar that seemed to be the base of this all. Once the questioning was done they left, the shortest hunter stopped the brothers once they were outside.

"I think I know our next stop," He told them with a smile as the brothers looked down at him curiously. "The doctor was a frequent at Lloyd's."

"Just like Shawn Boyd." Dean said as the three made their way to the impala jumping into the car knowing exactly where they needed to go.
