Hunted

Danny let his eyes flutter open when the sound of someone moving around in the room, the hunter reached out to the bed next to him trying to search for Dean only to feel cold sheets. At least he knew who was moving around now.

"Dean." He called out to him as he sat up rubbing his eyes as the eldest turned to him from where he was packing, it was only then when he noticed the panic in the others eyes. "What's happening?"

"Sammy's missing." With those two words Danny sprung into action quickly joining in with the frantic packing while trying to pull on clothes. The two carried the stuff out to the car and Dean went to return the key while the other hunter took out his phone quickly calling the Road House hoping that Sam would stop by there at some point.

"Hi Ellen its me Danny I was wondering if you've seen or heard from Sam he took off last night and we think he might be trying to do something stupid." The hunter told her hope dropping when he got a very simple no. "Well if you hear from him give me or Dean a call, thank you." The eldest jumped into the impala mid sentence sighing when he heard the news. "Don't worry we'll find him, D." Danny tried to reassure him however he knew the other wouldn't stop till he found Sam.

"I'm heading to the Road House. He'll show up there and we can find out what the hell he's playing at." Dean told him as they drove in silence it would take about two hours to get there though with a panicked older brother behind the wheel they could probably knock off half an hour. Halfway through the long drive the silence was cut like a knife by the younger hunters phone ringing instantly he took out his phone hitting accept.

"Hello."

"Hey Danny, Sam just stopped by. He was looking for kids like him and asked Ash to give him a list I've already sent to you." Elen told me as I let out a sigh of relief knowing that Sam was okay at the least.

"Thank you Elen this means a lot." I told them as he grabbed the laptop out of his bag to bring up the files. "If it's not too much to ask could you ask Ash to try and get Sam's location."

"Will do." The line went dead as Danny turned to the other hunter quickly relaying the information that he was just told as he opened the laptop while Dean pulled over to the side of the road so they could both look through the four names.

"Hey look at this the guy died in a suspected mugging just last week." Dean told the other, handing back over the laptop.

"Sam would go there first and see if it has anything to do with the demon." The other hunter nodded starting the engine as so they could drive to the town as quick as possible. "I'll find the first motel in the phone book he'll be there." After a bit of searching he found the Blue Rose Motel handing an address over so they could get there as soon as possible.

The two hunters eventually got into town pulling into the car park just outside the motel keeping an eye out for Sam, a window was facing the car park with a familiar figure standing in it. Danny let out a sigh of relief when the youngest Winchester turned to look out the window while talking to someone in the room.

"I don't know whether to slap him or to hug him." The shorter hunter muttered to the other as they watched the youngest out of the three.

"Just wait I plan to smother him in his sleep." The other joked back earning a giggle, that always managed to make Dean smile no matter what. "Thank god you're okay." They both spent quite some time just watching the unknown hunter, both were shocked when he moved revealing a young woman was in the room with him. "Oh you're better than okay." Danny reached over slapping him on the arm giving him a stern look. Everything changed when the glass on the window suddenly shattered as someone shot at Sam, the two hunters jumped out the car looking around to try and find the source of the shots as they continued to fire.
