Unexpected ( A Ross lynch Fan Fiction )

I start to panic.

Three days!

Why would I sleep for three days?

I slowly slide down the wall and sit on the floor.

What the hell happened?

Ross gets up from the bed and sits in front of me criss cross apple sauce .

I look at him and he wipes my face with his big hands. I didn't even know I was crying.

"I need to go home." I say softly.

He stays quiet.

Then I remember his answer from before.

"Who did you call?" I ask.

He stays quiet.

I try and balance myself and get up using the bed. Ross helps me up but still doesn't say anything.

"I need to call my mom." I say.

"Riley." Ross finally speaks." You can't call your mom."

I reach for my phone. " Why not? I just wanna go home."

"Your mother passed away two days ago."  Ross says.

"What?" I stand straight and look straight into his eyes.

"Just try." He says.

"Just try what?" I yell. I'm so frustrated and confused. I just wanna go home.

"Just try and remember.... please." He says. He sits on the bed.

I sit next to him.

"What happened?" I ask softly.

He sighs.

"After the party you got in a car accident. Your mother wasn't wearing a seatbelt and flew out of the car.....She didn't survive. The airbags in the car didn't go off so you hit your head hard enough to go into a coma. I didn't think you would ever wake up, So I brought you here yesterday."

I just try and keep up with what he is saying. I still can't remember.

"I just want to go home." I start to cry.

Ross pulls me into a hug but I don't hug him back. I just continue to cry.

I cry so much that I start to run out of tears.

Ross is about to speak when a knock on the door stops him.

He gets up and answers the door.

"She is awake?" The sound of a girl at the door speaks.

Ross walks into the hallway and closes the door.

Who is he talking to?

I get up and the door opens.

Ross walks in with a girl with purple hair.

She screams and runs up to me and hugs me tight. I don't hug back I just stand there. I look at Ross confused.

"I missed you so much. I thought you were a goner Riley. I don't think I would ever be able to see a world without you in it. " She tears up speaking.

"Olivia." Ross says.

The girl lets go of me and turns to Ross. " What?"

Ross looks at me and soon the girl is looking at me too.

"Riley?" She says.

"Yes." I say.

She looks at me sad now. Not with excitement like she did when she walked in.

"You don't know who I am do you?" She says with watery eyes.

I don't speak.

"Do you know who he is?" She asks.

"Yes." I say.

She storms out of the room.

Ross follows shutting the door on his way out.

I sit on the bed silently trying to hear the conversation outside the door.

"The doctor said there was only a 15% chance she would lose her memory." The girl says mad.

"I know, I know. Sadly she is that 15%. We just have to work with it. Maybe she can get her memory back. " Ross says.

"Why does she remember you but not me huh? I have known her since we were in diapers. Why can't she remember me?" The girls voice starts to weaken. The sound of crying ends the conversation.

Ross walks in without the girl.

"Where is the girl?" I ask.

"Her name is Olivia." He says not answering my question.

"Do you always not answer my questions?" I say.

He cracks a smile for the first time since I woke up.
