・゚: *・゚:* *:・゚*:・゚ IT'S HOT. Very, very hot. Momo sat on my shoulder, drifting off due to the sun's rays soaking up all of our energy. I rubbed my eyes as well as wiping the sweat away from them.

While we took a brief rest, I leaned on Appa for support. "This day is taking the life out of me." My big furry friend roared in agreement.

"...but don't we have more important things to worry about?" Sokka scolds Aang while I listen absently, "we should be making plans."

"We did make plans," Toph kicks back, "we're all picking mini-vacations."

"There's no time for vacations!" Sokka argues.

"We're learning the elements as fast as we can. Saki and I practice every day with Toph and Katara. I've been training my arrow off. N' just look at Saki! She's falling over!" He points to me who is in fact, falling over on Appa.

Katara emerges forward towards her brother with a shrug, "yeah. What's wrong with having a little fun in our downtime?"

Sokka unexpectedly pulls me forward by my arm. I didn't really fight back since I'm half asleep anyways, "even if you guys do master all four elements, then what? It's not like we have a map of the Fire Nation! Should we just head west until we reach the Fire Lord's house?" The Water Tribe boy mimics knocking on a door, "knock knock! Hello, Fire Lord, anyone home?" I find it somewhat humorous, harmlessly laughing at his joke, "yeah, no. I don't think so. We're gonna need some intelligence if we're gonna win this war."

Maybe it's the sleepy high, but I didn't necessarily feel like commenting on Sokka's claim. Usually, I would tease him and say, 'oh and that's supposed to be you?'

Aang plays a note on his flute, something I didn't notice until now. A little prairie dog popped out from one of its holes. It was cute.

"Alright," Katara complies with her brother's statement. "We'll finish our vacations, and then we'll look for Sokka's intelligence." She pulls out a map of the Earth Kingdom, laying it flatly on the ground.

Aang and I peer over her shoulder while she makes a decision on where to go next.

I lightly lean my head onto her shoulder which she doesn't pay much mind too. "Mmmm..." she thinks.

"How about here. The Misty Palms Oasis? Sounds refreshing..." she notes, gently pushing the shoulder I'm leaning on up so I will give my input.

"Oh yeah, I've been there! It's a pristine natural ice spring. And I usually don't use the word 'pristine'. It's one of nature's wonders," his sparkly smile seems promising.

"Real pristine," I note sarcastically once we arrive at Misty Palms Oasis. Which isn't much of an oasis.
