Chapter 22: Unexpected Attack

Sarada POV

The Konoha was in flames. Rubble and debris everywhere. There are shinobi scattered across the village. Lord Seventh also nowhere to be seen. Mom is in my hands, badly injured and barely breathing. I tried to find Dad, but he is nowhere to be found.

From a distance I saw Boruto walking in Dad's cloak and holding the sword that Dad, gave him during on his training. I tried to call him but he's too far away and he can't hear me.

And I saw a familiar figure in front of him.

It's him.......
Kawaki.

Both of them about to clash.

And opened my eyes as I screamed and woke up from my dream.
Oh, it was a dream. Couldn't control myself after that in my dream. The Konoha, my birthplace, my home, all or my loved ones,

Gone.

Soon,I began to cry.

Sumire POV

I woken up in the middle of night when I heard a scream. I opened my eyes, and saw Sarada crying beside me.

"Are you alright Sarada? What's wrong??" I asked her.

"The Konoha *sob* it was *sob* destroyed." She replied.

I see, she was frightened by her nightmare.

"Don't worry Sarada. It just a dream" I tried to comfort her.

But she insisted and kept crying over and over again. So I decided to call 'him'.

Boruto POV

I woke up from my sleep when I felt a sudden movement at my shoulder. I opened my eyes and saw Mitsuki that tries to wake me up.

"What is it, Mitsuki? What's so important that you need to wake me up in the middle of night?😒"

I looked around and realized that Sumire was beside him.

"Sumire? What are you doing here? Did Mitsuki asked you to here for,

Something unspeakable😏??"

Normal POV

"Hey, Boruto!! It's not time for joking right now" Sumire screamed with embarrassment.

"Yeah, Boruto. Sumire said to me, that your 'girlfriend' is crying in her room." Mitsuki said with a bit annoyed tone.

"She not my girlfriend- Wait, she is crying right, now???" Boruto asked them.

As Sumire nodded, Boruto dashed towards the girl's room as fast as a bolt.(pun intended)

"That was fast" Mitsuki teased.

-At the girls' room-

Boruto sat beside Sarada and tries to calm her. He looked at her face and noticed that her Sharingan was activated.

"Soo, Sumire. Why actually she cries?" Boruto asked.

"I'm not sure why. She said the Konoha was destroyed or something like that. It may just be a nightmare, but also, but I sense amass chakra when we are sleeping."
(Note that Sumire can sense chakra because of her Hashirama Cell)

"I see. It must be a really bad dream. Her Sharingan was activated, it's must be not a normal nightmare."
