Chapter 14: Mysterious Kid

Normal POV

"Playtime is over, kids. Now, it's time for bed." The man threatened as he morphed his hands into water guns, pointing towards them.

When the guy about to shoot them, a blonde haired kid with an mask emerged behind a tree and shouted,
Katon: Gokakyu no jutsu (fireball jutsu)
(don't ask how he do it while the mask is on)

Releasing a huge fireball towards the man. Making the guy dodge from the fire and got distracted from Boruto and Sarada.

"You guys go first, I'll handle him by myself." the kid yelled to them.

"Who exactly are you? And why are you helping us?" Sarada asked him by confusion.

"It doesn't matter right now.  Just make sure he is alright." The boy said while pointing towards Boruto.

Sarada nodded and carried Boruto on her shoulder.

"How can we trust you?" Mitsuki asked the boy again.

"I just want him to be safe, that's all. Believe it." The boy said while giving a thumbs up.

Mitsuki just nodded and lead the squad towards the Hidden Sand Village.

The man with the cloak face toward the boy's face.

"You again kid?? Just stop getting in my way!!!" The man grinned.

"You are not going anywhere this time. And I not gonna let you." The boy said while in a fighting stance.

-At the Sunagakure(Hidden Sand Village) hospital-

Mitsuki and Sumire were on a bench outside Boruto's room, waiting a response from the Uchiha. Sarada came out of the room and walked towards them.

"How is his condition?" Mitsuki asked her.

"He is okay, but the Rasengan that hit him before had cause internal bleeding to his stomach." The kunoichi explained briefly.

"Is he gonna be alright??" Sumire asked her with slight worry.

"Yes, but it gonna take some days to him to fully heal." Sarada said before going towards the stairs.

"Where are you going to?" Sumire asked her with curiousity.

"To clear my mind, before sending the report to Kazekage." Sarada said while walking slowly towards the rooftop.

-At the rooftop-

Sarada was sitting at the rooftop while staring at the moon shining at sky. She recalled the fight bettwen her Squad and the mysterious guy.

'That kid,
the way he use the fireball jutsu, like an Uchiha.' Sarada thought in his mind.

"How are his condition??" A voice heard breaking the silent of the night.

Sarada turned around and saw the same boy with the mask.

"He is alright, how is your fight with that guy?" Sarada asked him back.

The boy sigh deeply.
"He escaped"

"You let him?"

"No, he used the Flying Raijin Technique to escape"

"How is that even possible??"

"The tool that he used is not the same prototype as Boruto used during the examination. It's modified to use not only use ninjutsu, but genjutsu, fuinjutsu and summoning jutsu as well. The level of ninjutsu that he use can reach the Kage level too." The boy explained to Sarada briefly.

"How do you know all of that thing???"

"I'm afraid I can't tell you yet" the boy answer.

Sarada grabbed the boy collar and pinned him to the wall behind him.

"Tell me, why did you come only to save Boruto??" Sarada asked him.

"Because he is an important person to me" The boy grinned.

"Tell my why?" Sarada asked him again.

"I can't tell you right now, but you will know about it in next few years" the boy said before turning into a cloud of smoke.

"Shadow clone" Sarada grinned.

-Somewere in Hidden Sand Village-

The blonde boy with the mask was sitting on the edge of a rooftop and looking at the Moon.

'I wish I could tell  you who I am............
