Chapter 11: A Mission???

Normal POV

"It's a drag, but....
Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki and Sumire.
You guys had been summoned(called) by Lord Seventh."Shikadai said to them.

"What does Lord Seventh want with us?"Mitsuki asked.

"I don't know, but we should go now"Sarada said before dashing to Hokage building with Sumire and Mitsuki.

"Hey wait up!!!" Boruto said before followed suit, not wanting to be left behind.

-They arrived at the Hokage's office-

"The Hidden Sand Village been attacked by an unknown attacker just moments ago. The attacker seems to be using a curse mark. Your mission is to investigate the attacker. This is a Rank A mission. Boruto, you are in charge of this four-man squad. Do you understand?" Naruto asked the group.

Boruto walked to the Naruto's desk and said,"Lord Seventh, I think Sarada is more qualified as the leader than me. She has more experience and chuunin rank, let her be the squad leader, please?"

To say the least, Sarada was suprised when Boruto suggested it. 2 years back, it was always him complaining about his 'stupid old man'.  

"Hmm.... Okay then. I can't argue with you, 'ttebayo. Your mission starts tomorrow at 9am. Remember, teamwork is important." Naruto said to them.

After that, they all left and heads towards theirs home.

"See you tomorrow, Mitsuki-kun😊" Sumire said, smiling happily as she waved goodbye. Mitsuki smiled in return and then continued his walk home. 

"Hey, can you walk me home?"Sarada asked Boruto.

"Sure"he replied while giving her the signature Uzumaki smile.

While walking towards the Uchiha Resident. Sarada asked Boruto about the 'old man',"What's up with the formalities to the Seventh? I think I remember you always calling him an 'old man'?

"Well, during my travel with your Master,  we met many Feudal Lords. So, to make me behave, Master threatened to not give lunch if I misbehave. And lo and behold, the trick works"Boruto explained to Sarada.

Sarada chuckled."You are really stupid, ya know."

Boruto just blushed. Then, they arrived at Sarada's home.

"Well, see ya tomorrow Sarada 👋"Boruto waved, then walked to his home, hands in pockets.

Sarada then walk into the house saw both of her parents waiting for her.

"Where have you been, Sarada?"Sasuke asked her.

"I went to see my friends"Sarada replied nervously.

"Soo.. how was your first date with Boruto😏?"Sakura asked her.

Sarada blushed,"What are you talking about? I was hanging out with my friends, and one of my friends is Boruto"she said to her mother.

"Don't worry, Sarada. I'm not gonna be angry at you. Boruto seems trustworthy. However, if he does something out of line.... "Sasuke gave an menacing aura."I'll make him regret the day he was born." "Y-yes father." She replied, a bit terrified of the aura he's producing.Luckily, Shisuke was there to distract her, even though it's not the kind of distraction she wanted. 

"Mama, where does nee-chan went this morning?" Shisuke asked Sakura.

"She went to see your big brother, Shisuke. Isn't it, Sarada?" Sakura said to him and Sarada.

"Mama, I said he's just a friend to me, not a boyfriend or anything" Sarada protested against her mother.

"When did I say he is more a friend to you?"Sakura asked Sarada.

Sarada face turned red again, and she quickly dashed to her room.
