with Odin and Frigga leading the way along with your parents, you with Thor and Loki to your chambers, you got to travel along a very long hallway. it was mostly covered with gold that shimmered whenever it reflected with the sun outside the palace in Asgard. you found it very satisfying and different from your own palace back at home which was nice. you loved that it was different.
this palace is so beautiful. you thought.
while walking, Thor opened up a conversation, "so, (y/n), how many times have you been outside your palace? seems to me you do not go out that much,"
you chuckled, "is it quite obvious? you're practically right. i train inside the palace grounds and never out. I've...never been in an actual battle truthfully," Thor nodded as you said that,"well i'm sure you have," you said to him.
"well, more than once. i love to travel to Midgard once in a while but that's all. nothing quite interesting there. except for this one Midgardian..." his tone lowered at the last part.
"i'm sorry?" you said being unclear.
"oh yes, Jane is a lady i've met in Midgard. we both have this interest in each other and--" he was cut off when someone said, "i'm sure she does not want to know about that, brother."
it was Loki. finally wanting to speak.
"oh come on now, Loki. my stories are the best. my experiences actually," Thor whispered the last part to you and caused you to giggle and smile a bit.
you wanted to look at Loki but was too shy to even move a muscle. you felt his eyes land on you every second and felt the urge to start a nice conversation with him, but oh well, what's there to talk about anyway? so you kept quiet until you've reached your chambers.
"here is your chamber, Ronald and Elizabeth," Odin ushered your parents to a large door in front. "any requests or any possible problems, you may ask help from our lovely maids by ringing the bell," he pointed at a small button just inside the large room.
"and as for the beautiful princess, we've prepared a charming suite just for you." Odin said proudly. "Frigga, dear, why don't you show her where it is,"
"follow me, my dear," Frigga said to you and you nodded and took a quick glance to your parents behind and they smiled at you to make you feel assured. you smiled back and followed Frigga.
you were excited to see how your suite would look like. you realised that Thor and Loki weren't with you anymore, which made you feel a bit sad but that's alright. you were sure you'd see them again during dinner later.
"oh yes, darling you'll see them during dinner later that's for sure," Frigga said interrupting your thoughts.
"i'm sorry, your Majesty? was there something i said?" you apologised if somehow you said something wrong without realising.
"oh no, dear. its just that you were worried when you'll be able to see Thor and Loki again. thought you ought to know when." she explained.
wait, she can here my thoughts?
"yes, dear, i can hear them loud and clear. pardon me," she said.
"oh no, your Majesty, it's alright. i shouldn't have been too selfish to think of myself." you assured her.
"we'll talk about that later. now, this...darling... is your suite,"
(this is how your suite looks like. hope you love it!)
you stood straight in awe of how beautiful and grand your suite looked like. even though your room was bigger at home, this was better than you expected.
"wha...oh my...i love it!" you exclaimed.
"well i'm glad that you do, my dear. Loki and i finished it up ourselves," Frigga said.
"Loki? wow..." you said, still amazed at the sight. you went to where the bed was and climbed up the big golden stairs and sat on the comfy mattress. it was as if sitting on thick puffy clouds!
"well, won't stay any longer. i do have somethings to do. if you ever need anything, the bell's just right here," Frigga said pointing to a little golden button just beside your dressing table.
"thank you, your Majesty," you said.
she chuckled, "i bet you'd want to thank someone else, too." she smiled and closed the big doors.
YOUR POV.
Frigga is such a sweet queen.
Also, come to think of it, Loki isn't as bad as i thought he'd be. i thought he would be up to some mischief as soon as i'd arrive but he's been better than good...
"well i wouldn't put my hopes up if i were you," someone at the corner of room said.
alarmed, i stood up and readied a spell, "who's there? show yourself." i said sternly.
"whoa whoa...relax. it's just me,"
Loki showed himself and raised both of his hands in surrender.
"you scared me there," i said.
he chuckled, "i'm really sorry." and he flashed a cute little smile. who knew the God of Mischief smiled?
"you're not really here... are you?" i said as he approached nearer to where i was and stopped. he offered a hand to me, "do you want to find out?"
i hesitated as i looked at his face. that darn face that attracted me as soon as i saw him earlier today. and those eyes...those emerald eyes...
so i slowly approached him. my eyes locked on his. i slowly placed a hand on his but sadly, my hand went through it and a little glitch was seen.
"i knew it." i said, sounding a bit disappointed, so i added, "i wasted my energy feeling scared on nothing." Loki put his hand down.
"i thought i sensed a bit of disappointed there, your highness," he pointed out as he smiled at me. "i hope you're settling in well here. mother used up a lot of her time setting this place up for you," he explained.
"was it just her Majesty, though? because i heard someone helped as well," i stated and i looked directly at him.
he looked at me and stared into my eyes as he came closer and he was an inch away. my heart was beating loudly and i hoped was the only one who heard it. i was suddenly planted in my spot.
then he said when he backed off little, "must've been one of your imaginations."
he smiled. "well i don't suppose--" my sentence was cut off because after that, Loki vanished.
i was bewildered. he was here a moment ago. oh God, he's messing with me. this...cannot happen. and why did my heart beat so loud? i hid my face in my hands in shame.
"i am not letting this slide. God of Mischief, just you wait. i'm coming for you."
(A/N: hello, i'm back! hope you all have been well and staying safe <3 also, i hope you loved this part. don't forget to vote! thank you! i love you all.)
