Once everything was ready, we both got into his car and he drive all the way to Mark's. It was around half past ten, I had to be there at ten, everyone was already there. We parked the care one block away, it was full of cars and people everywhere, entering and leaving the house. Some people where outside smoking with drinks on its hands. I saw some familiar faces and waved to them, I had everyone's look on my big green but. Alex walked next to me, holding hands, and making me funny faces.
— How should I present you to my friends? –I asked him, the moment we walked inside, Mark wanted me to meet him on the big library room, where nobody would get in
— As your boyfriend? –he asked ironically, I laughed
— They already you, silly boy. –I rolled my eyes at him— Should I say Alex Turner? They won't recognize you, I don't know, its weird, I haven't said you are the Alex Turner. –he laughed at me, denying with his head
— Let's try with Alex tonight. It will be fun, also there will be no gossip about me being here.
— I haven't heard anyone of my friends talk about Arctic Monkeys, or maybe it's me being distracted all the time.
— Arctic who? –I laughed at him, while we walked through the house full of people, until we got to the hallway that lead to the library room
— I hope you like them, if Vee gives you a bad look, it's normal, she's like that, she does it even to me.
— Oh, that sounds fine.
— And don't start to talk about movies please.
— Why not? It's my best way to start a conversation.
— Because it would be an endless conversation, and it might end in a discussion, it's like politics.
— I'll try my best.
— They will like you, promise. –I came closer and kissed his lips, and then opened the door to walk inside with him.
There was Mark, Vee, Ana, Beck and Juls. Alex was behind me, acting shy for the first time. Mark couldn't believe I was with Alex.
— So we finally get to meet the mysterious Alex. –Mark dropped, and I looked back at Alex with a smile
— See? The knew about you..–Juls laughed at me, Ana started to clap at me— Let me introduce them, she's Ana, my classmate, she's Juls, Vee, Beck and he is the one and only Mark. Everybody, he is Alex, my boyfriend. –Alex greeted everyone, as I mentioned them, and then went back to my side, the music was bumping outside
— We're out of beers here, you drink Alex? –Ana asked him politely
— I can get you one, give me a minute. –Juls was about to get up from the couch, to get him one
— I can go for one, it's okay, thank you Juls. –he was so proper, I loved him— You want one, babe? Or can I get you anything? –Alex asked me, and I nodded
— Yes love, anything you drink it's okay, sure you wanna go? –I asked him, while Vee whispered behind me, making fun of me
— Yeah, I'll be back in a minute. –he squeezed my hand and left for our drinks, then Mark grabbed my hand, excluding me from the group, cornering me against the door
— Listen to me little brat...–I laughed at him, all dressed up it was hard to take him seriously— When were you going to say that you are dating THE Alex Turner? –he whispered to me, keeping it a secret
— About that detail...–I got out of words for a moment, stuttering— I was...uhh...I was going to say it but, maybe today wasn't the moment, the don't even recognize him.
— You were hiding it from me....FROM ME! I'm the one who knows it all, and you hide this from me? –he was acting dramatic— I'm disappointed.
— If it makes it up for you, you're the second one to know.
— I can't handle this information, there's a man inside this house in an Alex Turner costume and you come here with...
— What? –Ana asked the moment she heard it— Who's dressed as Alex Turner? I haven't seen him.
— The stupid boy Mark knows from the holidays, remember? He wants to act like someone he'll never be. –I started to laugh in the middle of the whole conversation, Mark grabbed his head with his to hands, trying not to spill it
— Ugh, beside that...–Juls also wanted to talk about it— Alex Turner is a blessed and kind human being, and that asshole is a cunt.
— Yeah, you're right Juls. –I added, and she nodded knowing she was right— Turner really is really good, isn't it Mark? –he rolled his eyes at me
— I think that we should enjoy the party by now, no more speculation, come on, get out of here.
Marked kicked us out from the library, and we all walked out from it to the huge lobby, where the DJ was. Mark's place was insanely big. A place to get lost in. I found Alex on our way to the lobby, he was carrying two beers on his hands, handing me one.
