Episode 4: Euphoria

Jaemin: How long have you been there?

Jeno: I just got here but from the looks of it your guys are up to something.

Jeno narrows his eyes at us and we both sigh in relief.

Jeno: What're you guys up to?

Jaemin looks over at me and I'm pretty sure we both look like a mess right now. I blush as he smiles and entwines our hands.

Jeno: Yah! Yah! What're you doing?!

Jeno walks over to us and splits our hands making me laugh. I'm kind of relieved actually, to have Jeno here. It was going to be really awkward being alone with Jaemin after all that.

Jaemin: Bug off Jeno.

Jeno: Not until someone explains what the hell is happening. And why is Y/N all red? Were you crying?

I look at Jeno with a small smile as he sighs and turns to Jaemin.

Jeno: Look man, I thought we were finally getting alone or something but if you made Y/N cry-

Y/N: It's not his fault, please don't hurt him.

I quickly interject and Jeno turns back to me.

Jeno: Okay, then tell me what's happening.

Jaemin: None of your business.

Jeno: I wasn't talking to you.

Jaemin's mouth falls open and I giggle. Being a noble, he's probably not used to being ignored so it was funny seeing it happen.

Jeno: Well, Y/N?

Y/N: It's nothing Jeno. Really, don't worry about it.

Jeno: I can't just not worry, look at you! You're eyes are all puffy and your face is all red.

Y/N: Jeno, I said I'm okay. I don't wanna talk about it.

I cross my arms over my chest getting tired of Jeno constantly pushing it. He sighs and rakes his fingers through his hair.

Jeno: Fine. I'll leave it.

Y/N: Thank you.

There's a moment of silence before Jaemin speaks up.

Jaemin: What're you still doing here?

Jeno: Oh, I was looking around for you guys so we could walk home together again.

Jaemin: What if we weren't here?

Jeno: I'd go home? Besides, you guys are here so let's go, shall we?

I laugh and get up as Jaemin reluctantly follows behind.

Y/N: Stop sulking, come on.

I grab his hand and he immediately lights up even though he tries to hide it as we continue walking, me in the middle, Jaemin on my right and Jeno on my left.

-Street-

Jeno: Okay but you guys have to tell me what's happening here?

He points between Jaemin and me and I look down feeling a little too aware again.

Jaemin: Isn't it obvious? We're dating.

Oh, so we're dating now? I don't say anything and continue walking with my head down when Jeno stops walking which makes me stop as well.

Y/N: Are you okay?

He shakes his head, a sad smile appearing on his lips.

Jeno: I guess. Just make sure you tell me if he ever makes you cry okay?
