Season 2 Episode 3: Remembering You

-Hospital-

Y/N: Will you tell me now?

Y/N had woken up a few minutes ago and the doctors had finished their check-up. Jaemin had left after announcing that he would marry Y/N and so had Jeno.

Renjun was the only one left but Y/N didn't find it suspicious; in fact she was relieved to see him when she woke up again.

Renjun sighed as he looked over to Y/N with a smile.

Renjun: What do you want to know?

Y/N: Everything.

Renjun laughs relieved that she was still Y/N and not an empty shell of a person. He knew that something probably happened and he was slightly relieved that she didn't remember but his curiosity was getting the better of him as well.

Renjun: Okay, where do you want to start?

Y/N: Why am I here? What happened to me?

Renjun smiles sadly as he gently ruffles her hair.

Renjun: You're the only one who knows what happened to you but you're here because you were kidnapped and nearly died.

Y/N: That's... impossible. I can't die unless-

Renjun: Unless you're given the elixir of death?

Y/N's eyes widen as she's still not aware that she's back in Noresen.

Y/N: H-how do you know that?

Renjun: *snickers* I know everything Y/N. I know you're a star. I know you come from Noresen. I know your parents work for the Nobles. And I also know that you had a crush on prince Jaemin.

Y/N: How? Why do you know all of that?

Renjun: Because we're in Noresen right now and I'm married to a star and I'm also a star and uhh yeah, pretty much.

Y/N: You were a star the whole time?

Y/N peers in Renjun's face not believing what she was currently hearing.

Renjun: No. I was a mortal. Then I married Tzuyu and became a Halfling. You weren't waking up and Jaemin wanted to make sure we saw you so he made us stars. And that's how we're here now.

Y/N: Jaemin? Prince Jaemin?

Renjun: *smiles* Yup, the one and only.

Y/N: Why would he...? And how do you...?

Renjun: You two dated... well are still dating, since you two never broke up.

Y/N: What? I never dated him. He doesn't even know I exist.

Renjun: Oh trust me-

Jaemin: I know.

His voice resonates through the room as he leans against the door not sure of how Y/N would react to him. The last time it wasn't very pleasant with the way she pushed him away.

Y/N and Renjun look over to him, a confused expression on Y/N's face while a sad one on Renjun's. Renjun gets up and is about to leave when Y/N grabs a hold of his arm.

Renjun glosses over a smile as he looks down at Y/N and places his hand over hers.

Renjun: You two should talk.

Y/N: But-

Renjun: Don't worry... *looks over at Jaemin* He wouldn't ever hurt you.

Y/N looks over to Jaemin as well and grudgingly lets go of Renjun who proceeds to walk out, patting Jaemin's back on his way out.
