-Research Room-

Xiaojun: You tell him!

Hendery: You're the boss!

Xiaojun: Exactly, and I'm telling you to tell him!

As the two bantered with each other, the very person they were talking about walked into the room.

Hendery: My lord!

The two looked over in his direction as they bowed and Jaemin nodded his head.

Jaemin: Have you guys tracked the sign?

The two looked at each other, both not wanting to tell their prince the news. Hendery pushed Xiaojun forward forcing him to speak up.

Xiaojun: About that... We were able to trace it.

Jaemin: Great. Tell me the date so I can go find out where he took her.

Hendery: You already know?

Jaemin simply nods his head, trying his best to keep his composure as the two fumbled around with their screens looking for where they placed the files.

Once they found it, Xiaojun recited out the data to Jaemin.

Jaemin: Okay, thank you. We're going to be having a meeting in five minutes, please gather everyone but Taeyong.

Xiaojun & Hendery: Yes, my lord.

Jaemin leaves the room, walking over to the meeting room however on his way he bumps into the person he'd rather not see at all today, Taeyong.

[Jaemin's POV]

-Stairway-

I stopped dead in my tracks as he approached me with a wide smile. What was he so happy about?

I noticed what looked like a bite mark on his right arm, was that from Y/N?

What was he doing that made her have to bite him? Has he used his element on her?

Is she okay?

So many questions swarmed through my mind as he extended his arms to me for a hug. I grudgingly hugged him back not wanting him to know we were onto him.

Taeyong: Going somewhere brother?

Jaemin: To my room.

Taeyong: Ah, I see. Have you gotten anything on Y/N yet?

Jaemin: *sigh* No, not yet. Xiaojun said it'd take at least another two days to trace the sign.

Taeyong: That's progress.

Yeah, major progress considering the Fates themselves came to me to tell who the culprit is. I'm sure you've done something horrible to her.

I will make sure you suffer 10 times the pain you have caused her.

Putting on a sad smile, I put on a show for the man I call my brother. I should've known not to trust him so easily after the war. I just didn't want to harbour any grudges.

Now it makes sense on why he teleported himself from Korilant to here so often.

Jaemin: I guess.

Taeyong: Don't lose faith Jaemin, I'm sure you'll find her soon.

Jaemin: I won't, not as long as I know she's alive.

I narrowed my eyes at him, I wanted to be as discreet as possible but I couldn't help it. At the moment I didn't care if he found out, the rage I was feeling was enough to cloud my reasoning.
