Everyday life isn't so swell;
It's a thing anyone can tell.But you live life for the outliers;
When you're away from the median you can see the lit bonfires.The warmth they bring and the songs they sing;
It'll continue to give off a pleasant ring.
Now don't expect to be treated like a king;
I'm just saying that you and her don't have to be "a thing."Because a supporting group of friends us what helps most;
Maybe have conversations where you're the host.
And on the Eve of New Year's you'll have a toast;
This glorious decade, ending on a new coast.So when life's problems just seem too formidable and tall;
Consider your friends, maybe not at once them all.
Instead gather a few to make a stand against the wall;
Surely given time, the barriers of misfortune will fall.Reckon them with respect and grace;
Your friends can really be your ace.
