I closed the door to my locker and looked up to find Jake standing next to me, "Good morning Princess"
"Hey," I responded shoving a textbook in my bag. I zipped up my bag and looked up at him smiling, only to find him staring at my legs.
"I like when you wear skirts," he noted looking back up at my eyes. He came closer and put his hand on my hip, leaning the left half of his body against the row of lockers.
I noticed a couple people look our way as they passed and I cleared my throat, pushing Jake's hand off of me, "Jake I don't think we should do this here."
"What are you talking about?" he asked looking genuinely confused.
"The touching and and the closeness, people are looking at us and I don't want them to think anything."
"That's okay, they all know I don't do relationships," he said as if that was much better.
I glared at him hoping maybe I could telepathically shoot the knowledge into his head, "Exactly, Jake, I don't want them to think we're sleeping together"
"What's so bad about that?" He asked trying not to seem offended.
"We're not sleeping together" I say rolling my eyes.
He thinks about this for a while before nodding his head, "Okay, I respect that, not in school. What about a janitors closet in between classes?" He wiggled his eyebrows at me jokingly.
Had I just become like every other girl he's ever hooked up with? I'm not judging them, but personally I didn't like the idea of being snuck into the janitors closet for a "quick fix".
I looked up at him trying to see if he was joking but he was serious, "You're an ass," and with that I stormed off to psychology class.
Within five minutes my phone buzzes.
Jake: What did I do wrong? (Delivered 8:04am)
I ignored his message stuffing my phone in my pocket and smile at my teacher as he handed me an exam packet.
I started scribbling down answers trying to push back the thoughts of Jake in my mind.
Handing in my exam I sit back down with only a few minutes left of class.
I pull out my phone to see I have another message from Jake.
Jake: Seriously? You're going to ignore me? Stop being so stubborn (Delivered 8:37am)
Deciding not to respond, I shoved my phone back in my pocket annoyed with him more now that he called me stubborn.
I had a right to be upset. We were friends and we kissed. That didn't mean he could treat me like some fuck buddy.
I sighed frustrated and jumped up from my seat when the bell rang.
After lunch I walked to gym class throwing my clothes and belongings in a locker and closing the lock.
After lacing my sneakers I go to walk out of the changing room but I bump into someone on my way out.
Before I can apologize, I recognize the blonde haired girl standing in front of me, "Excuse me Christina" I say trying to push past her.
She stares daggers at me putting her hand out to stop me, "What kind of game are you playing?"
"Excuse me?" I ask taken aback by her ridiculous question.
"I saw you this morning rubbing up against my boyfriend, not cool," the other girls in the changing room began to look at us, listening to our conversation.
