"I don't even want to go anymore Kim," I frown as I sit on my bed.
"Oh come on Chelsea, this is going to be the best weekend ever!" Kimmy frowned looking down at me on my bed.
"Jake and I aren't speaking, and as much as I want to go for you, I can't ignore the fact that he's going to be there and I won't be with him," I look down and begin fumbling with my fingers.
I feel the bed sink next to me and Kimmy puts her hand on my thigh, "Chels, I'm sorry okay. I get that you're upset and it breaks my heart to see you like this. But staying home all weekend and staring at his bedroom window isn't going to hurt any less. Come this weekend, let's get fucked up!" She leans a little closer and wiggles her eyebrows, "let's get you laid."
I laugh and gently push her away from me, "I'm not sleeping with someone on this trip."
She shuffles through my drawers and pulls out my sexiest underwear, "Well just in case."
I laugh again and shake my head, "Hey why did you grab a bathing suit?" I look to the floor and see my yellow bikini there.
"There's jacuzzis, duh" she teases as she throws more stuff on the floor. Because of my reluctancy to go, Kimmy has taken it upon herself to pack for me and to be completely honest I don't mind. The only problem is that she's focused on attracting attention to me so if I don't grab a couple jackets my nipples are going to freeze and fall off.
I look at the yellow bikini on the floor and think back to when I last wore it, at the pool party with Jake and Ryan. I frown as I remember Ryan punching Jake in the face and I shake the thought away as I pick up the bikini and exchange it for a different swimsuit.
I think about what Kimmy said, staying here and moping around all weekend when I can be there having fun with her and decide that she's right. So I begin helping her pack and she smiles knowing she won me over.
"You sure you're okay with me driving with you and Kaylee?" I asked Kimmy for probably the third time today, "I can totally drive myself if you want."
Kimmy rolls her eyes at me and smiles, "Don't be ridiculous, it's a long drive, you're not doing that alone. Come on throw your bags in." She unlocks her jeep and I toss my two bags in before slamming the trunk.
I can't help but look over at Jake's house and wonder if he's left already. His car is in the lot but Tommy's got an SUV, so I feel like they might've gone all together, at least that's what Jake said they were going to do when we were still talking.
I shake the thoughts out of my head and pull open the door to Kimmy's jeep, climbing in and preparing for a long car ride.
We pick up Kaylee and I tell them that I'm going to take a nap. Kimmy looks at me from her review mirror with a frown but simply nods her head. I feel bad that I'm not more fun for them but I truly can't get myself to think about anything but Jake. I really hope this trip isn't a mistake.

I feel the jeep rock and I open my eyes, and Kimmy turns to me, "Wake up sleeping beauty, we're here!" She shrieks in excitement as she climbs out of the jeep.
I look around and take in the scene. There were cabins all around and people running around everywhere and I smiled, this place was beautiful.
I hop out of the jeep and go to the back to help Kimmy and Kaylee with the bags, "Kim it is gorgeous up here."
"I know! Isn't it exciting?!" We walk up to the cabin and Kimmy unlocks it.
My mouth falls slightly in awe. It is beautiful, it's exactly what you think a cozy cabin would look like. The living room area has two large couches and a beautiful fireplace.
