"So that's a yes, right?" I asked leaning against my windowsill. Kimmy's whole group date thing was today and Jake still never gave me an answer if he was coming.

He shoved his hands in his front pockets and pouted like a baby, "I reallllyyyy don't want to see Ryan"

"Are you serious? You're a child," to be honest I didn't want to see Ryan either, especially with his new girlfriend. But I definitely didn't want to see him alone.

"He hates me because he thinks we fucked behind his back, why would I want to go somewhere where some asshole is going to make me feel like shit for hours?" Jake had a point and I felt kind of bad asking him to come. I know Ryan didn't like Jake but I also know Ryan didn't know Jake the same way I did.

But in a more selfish way, I couldn't face Ryan alone...

"Spend the night with me afterward" I suggested looking at Jake from hooded eyes.

"Spend the night? Should I meet your parents too?" He teased a smirk playing on his lips.

"Come over here," I think my convincing skills would work much better if he were a bit closer.

He hesitated before climbing through the window and landing perfectly in my room.

He stepped close to me and placed his lips on mine, grabbing my hip with one hand and pulling me close to him.

He pulled away slowly and looked down at my chest, "Are you not wearing a bra?"

I bit my lip and tried to will away the blush that was coming to my cheeks, "No"

I was wearing a pink milkmaid top that was slightly cropped.

He hummed in response playing with the tied strings in the front of the top.

"Look if you don't want to come you don't have to, but I'm going and it's going to be really embarrassing if I'm alone. And if you do come we can come back to my place after and watch a movie or something, my parents are out of town on business so they won't even be here," I reached up to fix a loose strand of hair on his head.

Jake ran his hand down my back and sighed, "You know I'm actually really good at ice skating."

"I've never been," I admit.

"Oh then I definitely have to come. Watching someone on skates for the first time is like watching a baby deer learn how to walk," his smile was contagious and I couldn't help but feel pleased that he agreed to come with me on this 'date'.

"So that's a yes?" I ask just to make sure.

"Can I pick the movie?" He asks referring to our private after party.

"Yes, you can pick the movie," I tease him by rolling my eyes.

"Then yes."

To be honest I kind of had regrets about the whole thing as Jake drove to the rink. Kimmy was right it was a terrible idea, and I should have never let her convince me to come along. Despite Ryan having moved on he was still my ex and he still hated Jake, which meant this was going to end terribly.

We probably wouldn't see each other much, in movies the rink is so packed usually that you can barely get through. Once we split off into our "couples" then we'll be able to avoid Ryan and Abigail.

"Chelsea, we're here" I look up to see the rink and offer Jake a small smile, embarrassed that I was too lost in my own thoughts to notice us arriving.

We get out and walk inside and much to my dismay there weren't as many people as I'd hoped there would be.

"Chelsea!" I turn to see Kimmy waving me over to where Kaylee, Ryan, Abigail and her were seated.
