Proposal

(By the way the three year time skip is still going on :3).
It had been three years since Brinery had tried to kill himself. He hadn't tried again since we'd figured out what had happened. He was thinking about something that made him nervous. I could tell.
"Brinery what's wrong?" I asked taking his hand in mine.
"Nothing Stevey nothing of sorts"
"Alright"
That night he took me outside in the warmth and we sat by a pond just us the monsters stayed away. I looked at him and smiled he smiled back. He took my hands and I raised my eyebrows in question. He pulled me to my feet and got down on one knee.
"Steve I was wondering if you'd d d do me the honor of m m marrying me"
"Yes I will Brinery I will marry you"
I hugged him and we slipped on engagement rings. I started to tear up.
