I grumbled and kicked my feet up on my desk leaning back in my chair watching the golden scrolls at the top of the gates. I could probably draw it from memory. I closed my eyes. A nap couldn't hurt. I yawned and was about to doze off when there was a panicked screech. I yawned again and opened my eyes.
"What Simon?"
"I need to talk to you"
Simon was an angel with bright blue wings an orange shirt a green striped beanie dark blue jeans and a pair of white and blue sneakers.
"What about?"
He walked over to me worry in his eyes. With how he was standing I could tell he was nervous. I looked over the edge of my glasses at the angel. If he was nervous it was normally for good reason.
"I uh..."
"Go ahead" I urged him on.
"I love you"
I was shocked. I loved Simon with all my heart and this whole time he's been nervous to tell me. I gripped Simon's arm and pulled him into my lap kissing Simon while he straddled my legs. He closed his eyes and blushed when suddenly-
"Martin and Simon sittin' in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
"First comes love then comes marrige"
"Then comes a baby in a baby carriage"
The gods were mocking us.
"We are both men yes? So a baby is not feasible"
"Yeah you're right"
I continued to cuddle with Simon.
