"you know, " you started. " you only get shat on if you stand under the backside of a bird"

He looked unimpressed, but when he saw your gleaming face, he couldn't help but allow the smile to appear on his face.

You arrived outside of his office block, and he stopped suddenly. "are you okay?" you asked.

"yeah, 'I've erm, I've got to go to work." he pointed to the building, "see you tomorrow?"

you smiled warmly at him, and nodded. "bye tony."

"bye (y/n)"

----

Tony walked up to his office, and sat down, turning around aimlessly in his chair. There was a sudden knock, which forced Tony back into reality.

"come in," he shouted, and Pepper walked in, carrying a box full of paperwork. "this has just come in for you sir. " she said. It was almost unusual to hear her call him sir, he thought they were past that stage.

"Tony, please pep." she smiled gently and turned to look at tony.

"is everything kay with you? You seem, distracted? Oh no, is I a girl, the one from last night?"

Tony nearly choked on his coffee, How had she known? Oh who was he kidding, he couldn't fool Pepper, she knew him too well.

"erm, no....and definately no."

"okay." she said, not believing a word of it. "do you want to tell me the truth?"

He pretended to think about it before quickly replying "no"

"suit your self Tony, you have a meeting in 5."

She said before closing the door behind her.

Oh, he was screwed. Was it really that obvious. Dame.

----

He looked for you that night. He couldn't see you any where. He couldn't help but feel a little bit disappointed. He missed you, your smile, your laugh. He wanted to see you again. And after his lose, he trudged to the local pub, intent on getting laid.

He sat at the bar and eyed a particular gal. She was sitting with her friends, and they all giggled. He sipped his drink. He looked over and their eyes locked. She seemed to excuse herself from the group, and in no time at all se had walked over, obviously recognising him. He was Tony Stark after all. He quite happily drove her to his mansion, and before he could really know what he was doing, his hall way was covered in clothing.

----

He wasn't even that drunk last night. What was he doing. His head throbbed slightly, he was used to worse. Before 10am, the woman was thrown out of the mansion, and tony went straight to the bottle, planning to drown out his pain. The depression was getting worse. Recently, it was only ever getting worse.
