AN: PLEASE READ!!!!

Oh my god, i never realised how hard it is to publish a chapter from the same book everyday! I was being was to ambitious when i promised a chapter daily to the run up to Christmas, forgetting about the end of year tests for every lesson, and the general Christmas madness!! Never the less, i will post a chapter everyday as promised, just please excuse any mistakes or grammatical errors. Also chapters may b short- for the same reasons. After Christmas when i have more time and less stress, i will edit the story, correcting anything that doesn't make sense. Thank you for all of the views, votes and comments, they are all very much appreciated!

yours, polomints28

Tonight was like any other night. Tony was alone and missing human interactions. He tought about going to the pub, but tonight he didn't feel like it. There was too much on his mind and he didn't want to forget you. That's when he remembered, 'nights' ... 'local homeless shelter' He ad never taken much notice of the place you volenteered, even though he passed it everyday to and from work. Tonight he wanted to see you again, he walked down to the shelter at the end of the road.

He looked up at the intrecut designs around the building, and without looking up, he never would have appreciated it. He took notice of the long line of cold and hungry looking people, waiting to go inside to get into the warm building. For once his heart stung for the suffering of these people, the same people he wouldn't have taken any notice of before. You really had changed him.

He was nervous. What if he went inside and you dint want to see him, or you were too busy to talk. He wanted to see you and spend time with you, as you seemed like the only person who could make him happy these days. He didn't want to spend the night alone.

Taking a deep breath, he walked towards the large door leading inside, and he was surprised to see the number of people already inside. He didn't see you at first, thinking it would be too early for the night shift to start.

He walked over to the front desk and spotted a small looking guy sitting behind the serving counter. It took him a while to realise he was infact in a wheel chair. The an was smiling and talking to everyone like they were human, just what they needed. Tony smiled at the sheer happiness he was spreading from just his warm smiles and kind words. Maybe you didn't need money to be happy after all.
