I don't know about you, but everytime the month of February comes by, I always get so excited. You see, Black History Month happens on that time and some of you might think it's not that big of a deal if you're not Black, but everyone can benefit from it. I challenge you to take the time to learn about an underrated Black person that changed history.
Here's a tiny list to help you out if you have no ideas:
>> Mathieu Da Costa (Samuel de Champlain's Negro interpreter)
>> Dido Elizabeth Belle (A Black British heiress)
>> Viola Desmond (A Black Canadian civil rights activist and business woman)
>> Sarah Forbes Bonetta (A rescued slave who became a goddaughter of Queen Victoria herself)
Enjoy!
