"All I want for christmas, is yo-" She sang, before Octavio covered her mouth.

"It's the sixth time you sung that song, please stop-" He said.

She giggled sweetly, she found it funny that she was getting on his nerves. It was a few weeks before christmas, these two were so focused on actually moving into their new apartment, that they completely forgot to set up the tree and decorate.

And to their luck, the both of them got the entire month off from work.

"Fine, fine, anyway, we should start with the smaller stuff. Like stockings , oh! And the fireplace too!" Y/N cheered enthusiasticly.

He chuckled and started to play their christmas playlist on the speaker, then grabbed a box labeled 'deco' from the closet.

They ripped it open, and grabbed the two matching stockings, Y/N did a 360° scanning the room for where to place them.

She abruptly pointed above the fireplace, which was crackling wildly. Octavio used a nail and hammer, and Y/N placed them. He grabbed another nail, and hung up a green wreath, that had red ribbons and lights.

Y/N placed a few candles on the ledge of it, putting her hand son her hips, she was proud of he results.

"It looks so...festive!" She cheered.

He laughed again.

"That's the point, isn't it?" He responded.

She stuck her tongue out at him while going to grab some red fairy lights.

"C'mon, this is the longest part so I'm gonna need some help here." She said.

He walked over, and together they wrapped the lights around the tree, top to bottom, repeating the process a few times on the inside and outside. Octavio plugged it in, the tree was now illuminated.

"Time for the bulbs!"

She was always excited for this time of year, Christmas was her favorite holiday. It was the time to have fun with your loved ones, decorate, and be all snuggly too.

Octavio sat on the floor, attaching and folding the hooks, and handing the red and green bulbs to her.

She took her time, deciding on where she should place them, and making sure it wouldn't fall off.

Halfway through, she started to get a bit tired.

"I'm gonna make some hot cocoa, you start hanging some in the meantime." She said, walking into their kitchen.

"Wha- That's just an excuse, you want me to do all the work while you sip hot cocoa and relax." He said.

She laughed.

"You got me." She giggled, grabbing two mugs.

She got hot water from the kettle, and poured it. Then putting in the packs of chocolate. Mixing everything together. Then, she added a little milk, and whipped cream. Lastly, she drizzled some chocolate sauce on top.

She walked back into the living room, handing him his cup.

"You're lucky this tastes good." He mumbled, she laughed at his words.

They sipped their warm drinks while going back to their process.

Y/N started to take out gold colored flowers, putting them here and there. She grabbed some red ribbon, lacing it around the tree.
