Brianna's POV

Everyday for the last three weeks my heart had secretly harbored hope to hear something from Nathan.

It was like nothing ever happened.

I didn't have the heart to check the internet for his whereabouts. I just used the computer for my work even though I was always tempted to look him up.

For three weeks, I couldn't bear leaving my house. I had been working from home. Sometimes, I had been a sack of potatoes resting on the couch. The funny thing was that I wanted to cry badly but i was dry as a bone.

I tried so hard to ignore the big lump in my throat.

I knew I shouldn't cry because tears were for the weaker days but deep down, I still knew something was missing. I mean, i finally found the one and he changed my life. He happened to come at the right time and I'm supposed to be in love but it happened again.

I'm numb again.

I wanted to scream, I wanted to shout. My chest was heavy. I was tired. I couldn't even get the emotions to come out. I didn't even know how to cry.

I think I'm stronger now or so I say.

I'm I really the problem?

I feel like love is just staring and laughing at me. I feel like I'm surrounded by a crowd and they keep yelling I told you so.

My room, an utter mess. They were half eaten chips all over the place, dirty clothes on the floor and bed.

Not having the strength to clean up, i made room on the bed for me to lay down and i moped at the ceiling.

It was my new hobby. Moping and sleeping.

Suddenly, I heard my door unlock by itself, I tried to get up but decided not to. I was too lazy and besides that, i wasn't worried because the only person that had the code to my apartment door was Mom.

"What is going on here!" I heard her distant gasp as she entered the living room.

"Brianna, honey...Are you in?" The voice was now getting closer and I pretended to be asleep.

"Oh my! Did you get robbed and what's that smell? Is that.....a rotten pizza?"

With a few shuffling of feet, I heard her open the window and I almost screamed from the outburst of sun.

"Brianna, what happened here?"

I stayed silent because I didn't feel like talking to anyone right now or rather I didn't know what to say.

The bed sunk after she sat next to me.

"What's going on? Alejandro called and said you're going through a bad time and let's not forget the fact that i haven't heard from you for three weeks. It's disturbing. What happened? This place looks disgusting." I could hear the concern in her voice.

"I rented my apartment to some people filming a movie and they forgot to clean up." My voice came out huskier and in a 'I don't care' manner. I just realized those were my first words in three weeks.

"What?"

"Never mind."

"Alejandro told me about Nathan."

"I'm going to kill him." I muttered before I rolled my eyes and that was a bad choice cause it immediately caused a sharp pain to my brain.

"Relax, I saw the website and i forced him to tell me. I'm surprised that the both of you are still good friends. He was really trying hard to keep it in. You know, I always thought that you and Alejandro liked eac-"
