Meeting my Parents

The next morning, at around 9:30, Felix and I were awoken by the sound of my parent's ringtone. When I answered they quietly said,

"Hey honey, sorry for waking you up so early."

"What... No, I wasn't sleeping." I used a higher pitched voice.

"Who are you kidding? You never woke up early, from childhood to now. Anyways, I was calling to tell you that our house is being painted today, so rather than you coming here, we're coming to you. Surprise!"

"Wait, woah, slow down."

"We have to go, bye." Just like that she hung up.

All I thought in my head was what were we going to cook for dinner? I wasn't the best cook, so I'd need help from Chef Poods. I walk over to wake him.  I shake him, he doesn't budge. I lean in for a kiss, when his eyes shot open, and he tackled me onto the bed. His body was inches from mine.

"Good morning beautiful. What was the phone call about?" An uneasy look grew on my face as I gave him a shy smile.

"Instead of going to their house, they're coming here." Felix looked surprised, but happy. I continued.

"Well that's great, now you can help me make a wonderful dinner for them." I smiled and we went to the car. Felix drove us to the supermarket. We were still in our pajamas, but we didn't care, it was only the grocery store. When we got there, Felix asked me what we were going to cook. I thought for a minute before answering.

"How about..." I thought for a minute. "homemade pasta?"

"Sounds good, what are we going to need?"

I grabbed his hand and yanked him in every which direction. After grabbing everything, we got online and bought the stuff. We went home and got to work. Making homemade pasta involves making the dough, cutting it, and boiling. It tastes fresher than store bought pasta. As I put the flour on the dough, Felix came in.

"Can I help with anything?"

He took a piece of dough and a handful of flour. He did as I had done on the piece in my hand. I looked over at him and gave him a playful smirk. I took a small handful of flour and threw it at him. He laughed and did the same. He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my lips. He pulled away.

"How much do you love me?"

"This much!" I said mocking the voice he used in his Pewds does everything video called "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" and holding out my arms. He giggled and wrapped his arms around my waist. He stayed there as I cut the pasta. After it was cut into thin strands, I started to put them into boiling water. After 10 minutes, the food was cooked and the bell rang. I took off my apron and walked with Felix to the door.

"Mommy, Daddy!" I hugged them tightly and didn't want to let go. When I finally did, I stood back next to Felix.

"Mom, Dad, this is my boyfriend Felix. Felix, this is my mom (Y/M/N) and my dad (Y/D/N)"

"Nice to finally meet you Felix, (Y/N) told us so many things about you." My mom smiled and hugged him.

"So, you're the guy that's dating my daughter?" My dad said.

"Yes sir.

"Well, it's nice to finally meet you."

"Nice to meet you too (Y/D/N)"

We all sat at the dinner table. I brought out the food and drinks. We started to eat when my dad started conversation.

"How long have you known (Y/N)?"

"Actually, this is our six month anniversary." I replied and looked at Felix.

"Don't worry, I didn't forget."

My parents giggled and continued eating and talking. After about an hour of talking eating, my parents said they had to leave, whispered something to Felix causing a smile to form on his face, and left.

"Felix, what did they say to you?"

"Nothing important."

"Okay. Felix, I-I don't feel-" Before I could finish, I ran to the bathroom and threw up. Felix was behind me in a manner of seconds, holding my hair.

"Felix, you didn't have to." He ignored my comment and took out a small box wrapped in blue paper. I smiled and opened it to find there was a heart shaped locket inside, there was a picture of me and Felix. When I closed it, I saw words engraved into the heart: Felix & (Y/N). Tears of joy filled my eyes.

"Felix, I love it, I got you something for you too." I said as I took out the gift I hid under the bed. I handed it to him and watched him rip it open.

"A blue pair of Razor Kraken headphones! (Y/N) I love you!" He squealed as he hugged me tightly.

"(Y/N), come with me." He took my hand and led me into the living room. He turned on the TV to reveal he had set up a movie for the two of us to watch. It was the movie we watched on the first day we hung out, Scary Movie 1. I cuddled into him, and fell asleep at his side.
