I woke up feeling like total shit. I needed to go to the doctor’s office.
“Felix, I think I need to see a doctor.” Felix ran in the room.
“Do you think it’s something big?”
“Nah, it’s probably the stomach flu, I just wanna check it out to be safe.”
Felix picked me up bridal style and carried me to the car. He placed me in the front seat and put the belt across me. He walked around to the driver seat and drove me to the hospital. We walked in, put in our name and waited for around 10 minutes.
“Ms.(Y/L/N)?” Felix and I stood and followed the voice. She led us into a room.
“The doctor will be here in a moment.”
We nodded as she left. Minutes later, the doctor walked in.
“Hello (Y/N), how are you feeling?”
“Not to hot doc. I have stomach pains, constant nausea, and horrible headaches.”
“Have you gotten the flu shot this year?”
“Yes”
“Have you had sexual intercourse in the past few months?” I looked up to Felix and nodded my head.
“I think you should have an ultrasound. Please follow me.”
He led me and Felix into a room. He asked us to wait while he got the supplies to start. I smiled and turned to Felix.
“Felix, we could be pregnant!” I said excitedly.
“That would be awesome.” He said with minimal enthusiasm. He grabbed onto something in his pocket.
“Felix, are you okay? I thought you would be happy if you had a kid.”
“I would be, I-” He thought about is next words. “I don’t think I’d make a good dad. I mean, you’ve seen my happy wheels videos.”
“Felix, you will be a great dad.”
The doctor walked back in the room with a rolling table. He had me lay on the bed, Felix took hold of my hand. The doctor put bluish gel on my stomach. He took out a oddly shaped tool, and moved it across my stomach.
“(Y/N), you’re pregnant. Congratulations.”
“Felix! We’re going to be parents!”
“Wow, (Y/N), that’s awesome.”
“Don’t worry, you’ll be a great dad.”
“I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Felix thanked the doctor and carried me to the car. He walked to the other side of the car and started to drive. We got home and relaxed for the rest of the day.
