“Felix?” He didn’t respond.

“Felix, talk to me. You’ve been ignoring me for the past two months.”

“(Y/N), I’m just scared. I don’t want to let you down again.”

“Again? You never let me down. Don’t worry about the wedding, everything is planned.”

“I’m just scared (Y/N). I don’t want to hurt you or anyone else. It seems like all I have been doing is hurting people.”

I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“Felix, you never hurt anyone unless it’s out of your power. If anything, you help more people in a day than you have hurt in your whole life.” I planted a kiss on his lips, he kissed back. When I pulled away, I smiled warmly, as he did the same.

“Now, Felix, I have to go get a dress.”

“The wedding is in two days, do you think you’ll find one?”

“I know it.” I pecked his cheek and started to grab my stuff.

“Who are you bringing?”

“Well, Lisa, my mom, and my closest friend Autumn.”

“Alright, see you when you get back.”

I walked to the car and called my mom, Autumn, and Lisa. They said they’d meet me at the store. When we got there, I started to try on dresses. After about ten, I went to give up. All of the dresses made me feel fat and ugly.

“I don’t know if this is the store I’m looking for.”

“Wait, I think I know one in our stock room you will love.” After he left, I turned to my “crew.” They gave me an apologetic, but hopeful look. He came back with a dress bag in his arms. I changed into it and smiled, this was my dress. I walked out to my friends and my mom. Their mouths dropped. The dress was a long ballroom style dress with rhinestones on it. My mom started to cry out of joy.

“So, is it a yes?”

“I-I say yes to the dress.” Cheers erupted in the room.

“How much is it?”

“$5,000.” We stopped cheering.

“I’m sorry, but that’s out of my price range.”

“I’ll give it to you for $4,000 if that’s better for you.”

“I’m sorry I-“

“We’ll take it.” My mom interrupted.

“Mom I can’t let you-”

“You don’t have a choice.” At this point, my mom was taking out her credit card.

“Just consider this my wedding gift to you.”

I smiled and hugged her. I changed and put the dress into the bag. We went our separate ways and started to drive home. I finally feel like a real bride.
