Salvatore was used to the fame, despite the fact that she wasn't famous in the least. She just so happened to be childhood best friends with Madeline Bellamy, one of the most esteemed models at this current time. She was gorgeous, with a perfectly curvy shaped body. She had perfectly wavy blond hair, doe-shaped green eyes, plump lips, a button nose, and adorable dimples. Perfect was pretty much exactly the word you would use to describe her. Salvatore felt inferior standing next to her, especially considering she also has some height on her. So did their two other friends, Eleanor Augustine and Jacqueline Lockwood. They were equally as gorgeous models who worked closely with Madeline. Because of Salvatore's exposure to the whole scene, she became good friends with the two alongside Madeline. She also made her appearance at many gatherings, galas, award shows, late night shows, concerts, launch parties, and more.
Salvatore didn't do much, nothing to make a difference in the world or earn her fame like Madeline and the rest of the girls. Instead, she worked for a small news source as a top editor and reporter. She was a wonderful writer and extremely intelligent, but that wasn't enough to get her the type of recognition Madeline received. It wasn't that she was jealous of her status, she just hated feeling lesser than her. And it was nothing that Madeline did, it was unavoidable. Salvatore was content with her life, anyways. She enjoyed writing, and she got paid a decent amount for it, too. She wasn't some millionaire, but she was well off. She started everyday seemingly the same, by waking up at five sharp, taking a shower, getting ready for work, sitting at a desk in front of a computer until five, and then heading home and either continuing her work, or going out with the girls. It wasn't that her life was boring, but more so repetitive. She knew what to expect, there were never any surprises or anything exciting. She had met her fair share of famous people, even developed relationships with them. Maybe that was exciting, to go from watching them on TV to being able to text them about something at your demand. Or, maybe Salvatore was just used to it all at this point. Nothing impressed her, surprised her, or made her feel like life was an incredible gift. She more so looked at it all like you grow up, work, and then die. And for a long time, she wasn't able to handle that. Eventually, she convinced herself to come to terms with it, but she shouldn't.
What Salvatore didn't know was that her life was about to be flipped upside down. She said she wanted something more, something exciting. She wanted to be shown that life was more than just expected labor. Everything she'd ever known was going to be changed, in both good and bad ways. By someone she'd never expected to be the one.
