When Salvatore woke up the next morning, she had a moment where she didn't remember what happened. She was laying on the couch, a pillow fluffed beneath her head, and tucked under a warm blanket. She stretched out, a feeling of euphoria coming over her. She felt like she'd slept the whole night, like she hadn't been woken up by that dream. That's what Sebastian did to her. They did it to each other. As Salvatore laid there a moment longer and let out a breath of air, she smelt a wonderful smell coming from the kitchen, which was directly connected to the living room. She sat up quickly and looked over the back of the couch. Sebastian was in the kitchen, cooking breakfast. She wondered if she was dreaming for a moment. It seemed too good to be true. They weren't in the penthouse, they were in a small house, and he was cooking. He rarely cooks for her, despite him being a wonderful chef. She brushed her hair out of her face and walked over to him. She watched him dance around the kitchen, humming to himself, as he looked for whatever he needed. He'd found his way around pretty easily. She figured it was easy considering he lived in a huge penthouse. If he could find his way around there, he could definitely find his way around here. "Oh, good morning, darling."

"Morning." She smiled tiredly at him considering she'd just woke up. She stepped over to him and wrapped her arms around him. He wasn't exactly expecting that, but he placed his arms around her tightly. He rested his head on top of hers as he used one of his hands to brush through her hair. He leaned down and kissed her head once. "Thank you for coming last night."

"Of course. I'd do anything for you." He told her seriously as they pulled away to look at each other. She shook her head at him, though she was blushing. She didn't take him seriously, but she should. "I made pancakes, bacon, eggs, and a fruit salad."

"It smells great." She told him as she looked at the large array of food.

"I figured I'd cook you breakfast and we could spend the day together before I get on my flight this evening." He told her, and she gave him a look.

"Tonight?"

"Yeah. My flight's at 8." He told her. She frowned slightly, making him frown. "I know it's soon. I'm sorry. I should only be gone for one night at the most."

"It's okay, I mean... I have nothing to be upset and stressed out about over. I know you've been wanting this for a while and I'm really happy for you. You haven't traveled in a while or anything, so I want you to enjoy yourself, okay? Don't make it all about business." She gave him a serious look. He smiled at her, reaching out to tuck a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Okay, darling. Whatever you want. Just know that if you need anything, don't hesitate to call." He said, and she nodded. Both of them smiled as he leaned down to place a sweet kiss to her lips. He tended to the rest of the food and insisted she relax on the couch as he served it to her. It was in this moment that Salvatore realized what a great man Sebastian is and how incredibly lucky she is to have him. He really was the sweetest man alive, though it didn't appear that way to anyone who didn't know him like she did. That was the thing about people. You can never judge them solely on first impressions and without getting to know them properly. If she had, then she wouldn't be here right now. She wouldn't be so happy.

"Thank you." She smiled up at him as he sat the food tray down on her lap. He came back with his own eventually. He turned the TV on, then looked at her.

"You said you wanted to binge that Lucifer show?" He asked, and she nodded eagerly. He pulled it up, seeing that she was on season three. He didn't mind starting late when it came to her. He was already invested in the show, though. The dynamic Chloe and Lucifer had was odd, but it worked. Salvatore had to explain a lot of background to him so he'd understand what was going on. He caught on quickly. In a way, he was a lot like Lucifer. He wasn't the person he is based on his first impression and the persona he puts on. Lucifer is a much more eccentric person, but he cares, deep down, for Chloe and his friends. Chloe most especially. Sebastian was the same way with Salvatore. He was vulnerable around her. The entire show, Lucifer was wondering if he could show his true self to Chloe and open up to her. Sebastian found himself doing the same thing with Salvatore. Given, Lucifer is the devil, so revealing his true self is a lot more risky than what Sebastian is faced with. Still, he read a bit too much into it and was finding similarities from the show in his life. He wondered if maybe that was one of the reasons Salvatore was pushed to share her past with him.
