Salvatore grinned at the expressions of all the people. They were truly astonished at her beauty. They paid no attention to Madeline, Jacqueline, and Eleanor behind her. She wasn't trying to be rude, she loved her friends and they were great people. But it was her turn, now. She made her way over to the drink table and found something, which would make all of this easier. She hadn't seen Sebastian yet, but she wasn't sure she wanted to. She hadn't seen him at all for a couple of weeks, no contact, either. She received her schedule from Finn and her manager. She had absolutely nothing to do with Sebastian at this point, and she missed him. She wouldn't lie about it. But, if asked, she would. He didn't deserve to have her missing him. He's the one who made the mistake and who treated her badly. So, now she got to show off. The party went fine to begin with. There were a lot of people, so she was trying to speak to all of them and get to know them. She was purposely flirting with all of them in a way, so that if Sebastian saw her, it would make him feel regret.

But, instead of him seeing her and getting jealous, it was the other way around. As Salvatore made her way through all the rooms, she saw him sitting on a couch with a woman on his lap. They were making out, and there were many other women surrounding him. Salvatore's mouth fell open. How could he? Like she was nothing? She knew she could do better than all of those women combined. This was his loss, not hers. She could definitely find someone better than him if he was going to treat her that way. He pulled away from the woman for a minute, leaning his head back as he panted slightly.

He glanced over and his eyes met Salvatore's. His eyes widened, and she hurried out of the room. He never wanted her to see him like that. He was only with these women to try and feel anything close to what he felt with Salvatore. He craved having her around again. He missed her terribly. So much so that he was stuck getting drunk and having parties with multiple women every night. He couldn't count how many women he's had sexual relations with the last couple of weeks.

He pushed the woman off of him, to her dismay. He stood up and placed his hand on his hip as he ran his other hand through his hair. What was he supposed to do about that? This was for her own good. Right?

Salvatore leaned against the wall in a hall where no one else was. She huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. Why did it matter? Why was she letting it bother her? She knew it was because there was something deep and good between her and Sebastian, but she was trying to convince herself there wasn't. If they couldn't be together, then what was the sense in acknowledging their connection? What was the sense in any of it? "You look pissed off."

She looked over to see Christopher Berkshire. He leaned against the wall across from her, lighting a cigarette. "I'm assuming it's against the law to smoke in here."

"Maybe so, but the law doesn't necessarily apply to people like us nowadays. We're famous." He shrugged, flicking his ashes into the floor with no regard. She eyed him suspiciously. "Enjoying your modeling job?"
