Steins pov

"Hello, hello! Hiya how you doing??" Lord Death asks me.

"Good thanks but what are we going to do with (y/n)?? As you know she killed many people, although she may not of done it on purpose we still need an answer Lord Death" I say raising my voice.

"Okay okay, we will need to help her clearly and get her mind back to this planet, can she stay with you? Incase if she does anything I'll know she's with our best meister"

"Sure but there's a high possibility she won't recover fully as the trauma she went through made her lose herself in a spiral of self pity, rage and insanity" I say smoking a cigarette.

"What's taking Sid this long? I sent him to retrieve her but he ain't cam-"" Lord Death says seriously but gets cut off by the sound of Sid.

"Hey! Jeez here she is Lord Death, sorry I took a while she tried to cut my tounge off and rip me in half!" Sid scratches his head.

"Hello (Y/N), how you doing?" Lord Death asks.

Silence.

"Anyway you'll be staying with Stein until you can adjust a bit to the academy and living here"

Her eyes widened and she growled at him.

"Dismissed! You may now go!" He yells again.

"Come on (Y/N)" I say grabbing her chains and pulling her with me till we leave the room.

"You won't need these, but one condition,don't go attacking anyone or anything harmful!" I explained.

"O-ok fine I guess" she finally speaks but I can see she's nervous since she's digging her nails into her arm.

"(Y/N), why are you worrying? I can see you digging your nails into your arm" I stop and ask her, her eyes widened.

"Why do you care? It's my problem asswipe and don't act all nice Pretty Boy" She snaps back at me, grabbing a pocket knife and pinning me.

"Aggressive much? Look I'm asking because I care for your health, what you did was very heartless but who am I to judge exactly?
It's not your fault that you were brought up this way, it's not fair...!" I shouted clenching my fists.

She drops me and backs away a tiny bit before lending out a hand to me.

"I can't do much about it, and why? Why do you care!? I could've killed your ass but no you still chase me down like a pack of wolves! You mindfuck me sometimes, you know that right?" (Y/N) says so calmly with her hand extended and glowing red eyes.

I take her hand and she helped me up carefully.

"You know, all because you don't know me, doesn't mean you can judge" She walks off and I quickly run to her.

As we walk into my lab she immediately was shocked and smirked.

"I think I've taken a liking to you professor Stein" She says putting a knife to my neck.

"(Y/N), do you need more medication, as I can sense your insanity is slowly rising" I ask her.

"No no no, I'm FiNE, I just want kill something!!" She laughs grabbing a scalpel and aiming at the wall.

"Drop the scalpel (Y/N), calm down" I said backing up as she turns towards me and laughs.

"See ya!" She smirks and jumps out of the window.

"Oh no..."

(Y/N)s Pov

As I ran to a alley way in Death City I saw a child and a drunk Man.

"Let me go!!! Help me!! Please Miss?!" The girl yelled out to me.

My eyes widened.

Flashback

"Another girl? Jeez man, she is a cutie he he he~" a large Man coughed.

Another Man grabbed my hips and pinned to the bed before beating me and then once he was done he Raped me...

Flashback ended

I cleanched my fists and grabbed the scalpel I stole and slit his throat open.

The girl was scared and had bruises all over her.

I laughed and stabbed the girl in the stomach and repeatedly kept stabbing her in the throat.

"(Y/N)!!!! Stop! Calm down please..." I turn to see Tsubaki and Stein.

I cracked my knuckles and removed the knife from the girls throat.

Stein ran to my side and Used Soul Force on me to which I broke his hand and went to finish him off until he grabbed my hips and pulled me into a hug.

"I'm sorry (Y/N)... Sorry for not helping you..." He said with such a calm voice.

"H-help me Stein...I don't want to live like a Monster..." I hugged him back as I started to feel dizzy.

"I'm sorry, I love you (Y/N)..." And with that I fell unconscious.

Steins Pov

As she fell unconscious Tsubaki and I helped her up to the Infirmary.

"You love her? Quite the choice, I wont tell anyone else until your ready" Tsubaki laughed.

"Thank you Tsubaki" I smirked and stared at (Y/N)s limp body.

When we walked to the Infirmary (Y/N) began to wake up.

She immediately sat up and went to punch Nygus.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you!" Nygus said trying to calm her down.

(Y/N) looked down.

"S-sorry, o-oh hey, Stein you okay??" She asked me with no emotion.

"Y-yes thank you, you?"

"I'm fine, I suppose?" She answered confused.

"May I talk with you alone (Y/N)??" I asked staring at Nygus motioning for her to leave, so she did.

"(Y/N), I..I...I love you..." I trembled.

She stared at me to show a hint of confusion and sadness.

"Love me?? Love? Love?...I love you too..." I smirked kissing her.

"Oooooooooo~" Soul and Maka laughed.

"Well done professor Stein..." Crona smiled and clapped.

(Y/N), stood out of the bed and smiled.

"Wow...so this is what a normal life is?? I think I can adjust to this way of life easily to be fair... and I don't really feel the urge to want to stab someone or something"
(Y/N) laughed.

This is a change, a big huge change from who she was...
