Berella was to spend the day in the upper palace with my parents, heavily guarded while Rone, Gregory, Orion, James and I headed to the dungeons. Josephine hasn't been given a sedative since 6 this morning, three hours ago so any time now she might regain whatever strength needed to speak with her mother. I dressed in a tan trumpet sleeve shirt, with a black corset tight on my waist, heaved cotton jean material, and knee length leather boots. I awoke this morning breathing frost, today was bitterly cold, to cold for my wings to even be out. I pulled my black cloak tighter around my body as we walked the halls in silence.

Rone was never a quiet person, especially around Gregory, but Rone made sure to walk a few steps behind Orion. I could tell he was nervous. "Are you ready for today?" I asked Rone.

He looked down at me and put my hand in his, "Yes, though are you sure it's smart we bring Orion if Mardith agrees to meet?" He whispered.

Looking up at Orion who kept his head down, his tall shoulders lazily slouched. "Why wouldn't we bring him?"

"Could be unsafe, given his history with Meredith, she might want blood if she sees him."

I shook my head, "She cant interfere with a blood oath, she wouldn't dare."

Walking into the dungeon I was a bit surprised at how well Josephine looked, "That girl Berella is a doll, look at this dress she gave me," Josephine twirled, her thin hair gliding around her shoulders. "So I am guessing Rone has decided to trust me."

"Not you, her," Rone said not meeting her taunting gaze but looking at me. I knew that look, pleading for this to be over with. Rone and I had a lot to talk about, after all his ex turned out being a crazy bitch, his parents are out of the palace, and not to mention I dont think he knows yet how he even feels about Orion. If I knew better, he looked scared.

"No more games, you look more then well contact your mother. And one last reminder, I wont think twice about ripping your heart right out of your chest if you make one wrong move."

Josephine waved a delicate slim hand, "Calm down, I wont have any significant power for a couple days, why do you think it took me so long to strike when i first awoke?"

"Alright then, tell your mother exactly what I told you."

Josephine rolled her eyes, but finally closed them, her entire body going still, like she was gone entirety. Within a few seconds her dark blue eyes flickered open, "Looks like you peaked my mothers interest," she sighed. "She will meet you at the very edge of the woods within the hour, bring who you must, if this is a trap she will unleash the demons."

"How are we not sure this isn't a trap?" James asked his dark eyes shifting between Josephine and I.

"We dont, and if it is we have the advantage," i said, "She'll be on our turf."

"Will I be coming as well?" Josephine asked.

I said yes, but at the same time Rone roughly said no, "Why does she need to be there?" Rone asked me.

"She is Mardiths daughter, I'm sure if there was a truce struck she'd want her daughter back," I reminded him.

"We should get the Trax together, Gregory and I will meet you guys at the gates in forty minutes?" James asked as I nodded. "How many people do you think we'd need?"

"All of them," Rone said without hesitation.

"I dont think that's wise," I said to Rone.

"Nadia, we dont know this woman, we take as many precautions as we can, remember the stakes," Rone reminded me. "If you are dead, there is no future for Fae."
