Chapter 30

"And?" I questioned.

"He says nothing is wrong." Kaat shrugged rolling her eyes.

"Which is obviously a lie." Melissa added simply.

"Exactly." Emi agreed.

I groaned and fell back on my bed. "Why do I feel so bad?" I complained.

"Because he acts like an idiot after your first date together."

"Don't forget first kiss either." Emi piped in.

"Let's kill him!" Melissa said happily.

Kaat was nodding her head like it was about to fall off any minute.

"Whoa wait girls." Emi said.

She's the mature one. If you haven't noticed yet.

Melissa and Kaat scoffed.

"You're no fun." Kaat said to Emi.

"Hey!"

"Stop it!" I rubbed my temples and sat up.

My phone started ringing and we all stared at it like it was some strange creature on earth.

"PICK UP!" Melissa said annoyed by the ringtone.

I shrugged, not really a bother.

Kaat muttered some colorful words under her breath and grabbed the phone.

"Hello with Maalem Souhaila's phone." Kaat said politly.

"Ew it's you." She scowled after there was some muttering on the other end.

"It's Mr. Goofball." She handed me the phone and pushed Emi, Mel and herself out. Thank god she knows when to give someone a little privacy, while I bet she's eavesdropping with Dumb and Dumber on the other side of the door. Which makes my lovely best friend Dumbest.

"Yes?" I finally spoke up.

"Sou, I need to say sorry."

"What for? Totally ignoring me once you enter the dinner?" I said sarcastically.

"Yes, about that. I wasn't in a good mood."

"But why?" I asked.

"You never feeling moody for no reason?"

I could hear it's more then just feeling moody. But oh well, I drop the subject, I'll find out sooner or later.

"Okay, you're forgiven."

"NO!" I saw the door crack open and Kaat stare at me with disbelief.

"What?"

Told you I was right about the eavesdropping.

"Don't give in that fast! You should shove an axe up his ass 'till he speaks!"

"Why?" My eyes widen when the last part came through, "what!" I gasped

"Why? And you heard me." She raised an eyebrow. "Women are so weak." She said and turned around and stormed out.

Kaat is the girl in the house that is the protectif one over all of us, even Krissy and she's the oldest.

When I was younger and a boy hurt my feelings she straight walked over to him and just hit him square in the face. She would nod in approval and walk off.

"Sorry about that Cam."

"Uh... it's cool."

I laughed at how uncomfortable he was now.
