*what happend before*

I hung up the phone and threw it on the couch. I went with a hand through my hair and sat down. My head in my palms.
"Where are you Sou?"

*

•• Sou's POV ••

I had two options.

1) stay there and let all the people babble to me, about my loss and remind me every darn time again.
2) run.

Most likely I did #2. And why you think? Well easy. #1 explained it. I don't know how long I want to wander around, and I don't know why I lied. I probably make them all worry about me, but my friends knows this phase, sure does Kaat. She helped me out the last time. But they need to accept I need time on my own, time to find myself again. And to stop whining like a baby because my dad died. It's not that I can go back in time.

Because if I could do that, I would go back and tell all the lottery numbers to my older self. Make my parents rich. And my mom, and dad would be alive. And it will be a lovey dosey family.
The toughts make me sick.
Sick that it couldn't happen.
Sick because it's to good to be true.
I sighed and threw my bag over my shoulder. I walked around and saw a small restaurant on the corner of the street. I drove to a random place, I don't know really. I kept driving, and driving. And pow, I'm here. It looks cosy too, small buildings. Not bigger than two floors. There are flowers everywhere. This is one of these neighborhoods where everyone knows each other. I opened the door and the small bell made a ping sound. I walked in and slipped down in one of the booths in the back. I took the menu and ordered a water as final. I don't feel like eating after all. When the waiter got my drink, I just gave her a small nod and continued with thinking of what to do next.
I tied my dark hair in a bun. And sat there, my head resting on my hand. I opened my bag and grabbed my phone and saw I had a tons of missed calld and texts. Gahh.

Me: Don't worry.

Send to Cameron and Krissy.
They'll let the others know. When I paid the waiter and made my way back outside. I sat down on a bench. Thinking.

"Well hello there."

My eyes widen and I looked up and saw a girl, snake bites, long black silk hair. And black clothes.

"Hey?" I said, it came more out as a question. I don't want to come over as afraid, but whoop there goes my first impression.

"You're new here?" She asked and sat down, wow she's good with strangers.

"I guess." I shrugged.
She gave me a dimpled smile.

"Oh!" She suddenly said. "I'm Mercedes."

"Sou."

She gave me a strange look.

"What?" I spat. Ok, she was nice to me. But strangers don't need to give me some judgemental looks.

"Sou, it doesn't sound... cool." She said shaking her head a little, ignoring my harsh tone.

"Well I'm sorry I'm not named after a car brand." I scoffed. But she grinned.

"My real name is Marie." She shrugged. "Drew named me Mercedes." She smiled and I saw she had a smiley piercing. She looked pretty awesome.

"Drew?" I asked.

She stood up and grabbed my upderarm. "C'mon nameless."

"What did you say?"

She just laughed and kept pulling me with her. Is she going to kill me?
