Ryn pov
A month has passed since I found El in these woods, the winter winds had slowly died down and there was only a small blanket of snow that covered the ground. Over the month El and I had formed a sisterly bond, I stayed in my wolf form to keep not only myself warm but El as well.
The sound of footsteps made me look up to see that El had managed to hunt some squirrels, I then notice she was wearing winter clothing which made me tilt my head to the side as she came closer to me
" Where did you get this clothing," I asked, as I began to sniff her and the aroma of cigarettes mixed with alcohol made me back off,
" From a man who was hunting," she stated. I frowned at this and huffed in anger knowing she had gone too close to the human,
" What have I told you about going near them" I growled, she seemed annoyed at what I said.
" But we are humans too," she said,
"El we have been over this, we are nothing like them you have powers and I can turn into a wolf," I said, she seemed upset at what I said, and I sigh. " I'm just trying to protect you, those bad men might be still looking for you and I don't want them to hurt you, Do you understand," I asked, she sigh
" I understand," she said.
" Now I have to go see if that human didn't follow you, can you promise that you will stay here inside the den," I asked,
" I will," she said, I licked her face and she smiled as I stood by the entrance of the den
"I'll be back," I said,
El POV
Once Ryn left, I got up and left the den. I knew it was wrong for me to do so but I wanted to go back to the place where the man keeps bringing me Eggos. By the time I got there night had fallen, the lights of a car made me duck down and I saw him approach the box and put what I could only guess be Eggos,
I wanted to see who he was and as he closed the box, I walked over to him as he stopped once he heard me and turned around with a face in ah. He takes his hat off and I stare at him.
Ryn POV
I finally reach the den once I made sure the man wasn't anywhere in sight, as I reached the den I notice El's sent was gone, I sniffed the spot where she slept and I saw the trail leading outside, without hesitation I ran outside into the cold winter night and came to a spot where a strange box was hidden under the snow.
" El where are you," I thought, as I kept sniffing until an unfamiliar scent made me growl, this man had taken El from me. As I kept running following the scent, I came across a small human home. A man came out and I growled at him as he saw me come closer.
" Hey back off," he said, I huffed and snarled at him showing my fangs at him.
"How dare you take her from me," I said, his eyes widened when he heard me talking to him. He fell to the ground shocked and his eyes held in the fear and confusion as I slowly made my way toward him
" How can you talk," he asked. I stood tall and growled.
" Silence, tell me where the child is," I growled,
"Child?" he asked,
"Where is she I won't ask again," I growled, he seems to not want to tell me so I placed my giant paw on top of him and pinned him down, " Fine then, I'll find her myself,"
I open my jaw and was about to kill this stupid human when I heard a shout and that's when strange energy push me off him
" No Stop," it said.
I felt my body collide with a tree and then landed harshly on the ground, the pain couldn't comprehend the pain I felt when I knew the reason why I flew into the air, my eyes looked over to see El help the man up, her gaze landed on me and I let out a growl warning her to stay back

She seemed to understand and ignoring the pain, I stood back up and glared at El and the man who seemed more shocked at the fact I could talk,

"Ryn, I'm sorry," she said, as I turn to her, she came forward and tried to touch my muzzle and I did the one thing I could think of and growled at her and tried to bite her, but she fell back at the sound of my growl,
"Ryn,"
I looked down at her and took off into the woods, I heard her yelling for me but the pain of being betrayed made me angrier, I reached that once special place and let out a howl into the night sky, I stopped and heard the howls of my pack mates, so I ran to them
El pov
" RYN," I shouted, as she ran deep into the woods not looking back, I felt guilty for using my powers but she was going to hurt Hopper, then again I left without telling her and she was just protecting me,
"What the hell was that," Hopper said, I looked down as I heard her howl than the sound of several more howling
