Ryn Pov
It has been some moons since I last saw El, not long after I left her with that man did I decide to return to my pack. Alpha welcomed my return, Kenai was also happy that I had returned though I knew the real reason why he was happy, his mate Anita scolded him for being a bit selfish, as for Beta, he was not so pleased that I returned,
He said that humans were all the same and that I should have listen to him, but as time went by he told me in private he was glad I had returned safe and sound. It was now Halloween for the humans making us hide even further into the wood to not be seen, we all lay on the ground as we waited for Alpha's orders.
" Man I'm starving" Kenai whined, as he laid on the grass waiting for Anita's return,
"I suggest you hold it in, we can't risk being seen," Beta growled, I sat down next to him as we all waited for our next move.
" Hunting this early might not be so bad seeing as the humans don't come out until noon" I suggested, we all turned to see as Alpha came over and sat on a rock as he overlooked his pack. His ears became flat as he sensed something was wrong
"Something isn't right here," he said, this made us all stand up and looked at him,
" What do you mean," I asked,
Alpha became uneasy and paced around, that's when from the tree's Anita came in looking panicked, Kenai walked over to her
" What's that matter,"
" One of the farmer's pumpkins has rotten and when I tried to get a better around but the ground felt unstable ," she said,
"Are you sure it wants some prank ," Kenai said, I thought about what she said and looked at Alpha.
" Alpha, allow me to go check the other farmer's crops to see for myself," I said, he looked over at me and nodded
" Come back if things go wrong," he said,
I nodded and took my leave, it wasn't long before I step foot on the farmer's land, I notice that the trees look rotten, I began to sniff them when I felt someone was behind me
Turning around, I let out a deep growl as I saw the same man that had El.
" Easy there," he said, as he kneeled and place a small flag on the ground but kept a close eye on me. "I don't know if you remember me but my name is Jim Hopper," he said, I began to study him before letting out a huff and began to leave
"She misses you, and she's very sorry she hurt you that night" he said,
I stopped and turned to him and growled at him as I walked towards him in anger.
" Foolish human how dare you speak about her in my presence" I growled, I was about to attack him, when a loud bang was heard and a burning sensation ran through my veins, with little strength in me turn to see another man holding his gun and pointing it straight at me.
" No stop, don't shoot" Hopper yelled, I looked at him as two new humans began to protest
" But Chief " one said,
With as much straight I had in me to push through the pain I let out a roar making them move out the way as I ran back to the pack. As I ran the pain got more intense. It was a pain so imaginable I could feel myself going crazy. Once I had made it back to the pack, I fell to the ground in pain.
" Ryn" Beta yelled, sounding worried for me as he saw the state I was in. I felt something nudge my face and start to lick my wound. I close my eyes feeling myself going into shock. Everything around me became dark as I closed my eyes.
My eyes shot up as I took in my surroundings, I turn my head down to see my human form
" What happened, " I asked. Anita came to my side and began to lick my cheek as I tried to sit up,
" Don't, you're too injured to stand up?" She said, I could feel the bullet inside of me and I winced at the strange feeling
" You'll have to take the bullet out of you, " Alpha said, as he came forward
I nodded as I sat up and got ready to take the bullet out of me. As my hand made contact with my wound I hissed in pain as I shoved my fingers inside of me. The sound of flesh being touched as I looked for it made me want to gag.
I soon came in contact with the bullet and I let out a scream that for sure echoed through the forest.

I pulled it out slowly and then looked at it before throwing it to the side, I looked at my bloody hands and my breathing became uneasy.
" Ryn, "Anita asked, I looked over at her seeing her look worried for me, I tilted my head to the side and once again felt the world turn dark.
