Lilly's Pov
I could hear the sounds of laughter and all the different emotions coming from the fair the town was having to celebrate the fourth of July. I sat on Hoppers chair as I stared at EL as she explained what happened.
" He said he was building something, that it was all for me," she explained
"Building something...Is he talking about the flayed?" Max asked,
"He must be," Nancy stated,
"So, he's building an army, just like we thought," Lucas said,
" Yeah, but he's not building this army to spread," Mike said,
"He's building it to stop Eleven," Will confirmed,
"Last year, El closed the gate on him I have a feeling that really pissed him off," Mike stated,
" Like, royally. " Lucas said,
"And the Mind Flayer now knows that she's the only thing that can stop him. But if she's out of the way--" Mike explained,
"Game over." Lucas finished,
"He also said he was gonna kill all of you," El said, I could feel how worried she was about all of us
" Yeah, well, that's nice," I said, I heard some strange noise and stood up from my seat, It got loud enough for Nancy to hear it as well. I walked over to a window and Nancy did too, I closed my eyes focusing on the sound
"Do you guys hear that?" I growled, Nancy shuddered next to me
"It's just the fireworks," Jonathan said, Nancy looked over at me
" Billy...when he told you this, it was here, in this room?" Nancy asked El, who nodded. The sounds got louder and we all looked around and I saw Will reach for the back of his neck
"He knows we're here," Will said, we all went outside and followed Jonathan onto the main path, the sound of a screeching made me jump as up ahead was the Mind Flayer screeching as it saw us.
" You've got to be shitting me" I whispered...
Ryn's Pov
As I jump behind with Steve and Robin who seems to be acting stranger then usual, I looked over at Robin who couldn't keep her eyes off me
" So your girlfriend is a wolf," she asked,
" Well I think more of a werewolf," Steve said, I rolled my eyes a Dustin drove faster as the alarm was still going on. "Jesus, slow down!"
"Yeah, what is this, like, the Indy 500?" Robin said, slurring her words
" It's the Indy 300." Steve slurred
"No, dingus, it's 500!" she said,
"It's 300!" Steve repeated,
" Let's say a million," she said, then began to laugh and I looked at them confused as to why there were acting this way
