Thor didn't know why but all the sudden he felt a wave of sadness wash over his body causing him great discomfort. He looked over at his brother to see that he had also felt it. Loki's brows were knitted together in worry. This was taking too long. Thor looks over to where Steve and Bucky were rereading the book from middle earth to see sadness filling Bucky's blue eyes.

Pushing himself up from his seat he walks over and grabbing the book from them searches the page for what had saddened the soldier. His eyes scour the pages contents before it lands on a section where the little hobbit had eavesdropped on (Name) watching some sort of 'memory' as he called it, but Thor knew it to be a video. It was of the last birthday they had spent together causing Thor's heart to clench tightly. This Bilbo had written (Name)'s emotions down so perfectly Thor could fill her pain and longing as if they were his own.

"This place, I cannot wait any longer." Thor decides as he hands the book back to Steve. "Wizard!"

"What are you doing?" Loki asks moving to his brother's side.

"I can no longer sit here while our sister is in pain. One way or another I am going to her right now."

"And how do you expect to get there without Strange?" Steve asks making Thor look at him to notice that he was now standing next to them.

"You can't." Strange appears behind them a book in his hands. "But thankfully I have finished what I needed to do." Setting the book down he reaches into his pock and produces two sling rings. "These will help you return."

"Why two?" Steve asks making Strange clear his throat.

"There is a possibility that you might get separated. This way if something happens you both have a way to get back." Strange concludes causing Loki to hide one in his robes while Steve places the other in his pocket. "Also, give me your communicators." Strange adds as he holds his hands out for them. Once he has all four of them, he waves his hands around quickly causing them to glow brightly before they return to their normal shade. "This shall help you stay connected with not only each other but Stark. That way if something goes wrong, he can help you get back."

"Thank you." Steve says as the four men take their comms back.

"Now, if the four of you are ready to go. I do have other things to get to."

Thor looks at the rest of them and they all nod.

"We are ready." Thor announces making Strange nod.

Pulling his hands up he moves them around in a strange patter causing the book from Middle Earth to glow in a strange golden light. Then as if it knew exactly where to go the cover flips open flipping pages until it finds where it wants to send them.

"Be careful, this place is much more dangerous than our world. Try not to change anything." Strange says before they all are engulfed in a bright white light blinding their eyes for a moment as the wind whooshes around them. It only felt like seconds until everything felt normal again. Thor opens his eyes to see that he is somewhere in some dark forest.

"Well this looks horrible." He hears Loki say and turn to see his younger brother standing a few feet away.

"Aye it does." Thor replies his eyes searching around for the super soldiers but not finding them. "Steve? Barnes?"

"Hey Thor, I think we got separated, just like Strange said." Steve calls into their comms making Loki roll his eyes.

"Well, where are you?" Loki asks annoyance filling his voice.

"Not sure, but I'm thinking the locals don't like people just popping up uninvited." Steve replies causing Thor to narrow his eyes.

"What do you mean?" Thor asks meeting the eyes of his brother.

"Let's just say Buck and I found those Rivendell Elves that were in the book, and they are not happy with us."

"Good luck you two, be careful. (Name) would never forgive you if something happened to you." Thor replies looking around at the forest remembering the one from the book. "I do believe Loki and I are in the place known as Mirkwood. We know where she is going, whoever finds (Name) first will let the other know."

"Good plan. Keep in contact. Rogers out."
