If asked, one might say it's a void of blackness, others a void of nothing, but to Yuuya Sakazaki, it was plain dark and cold.
He blinked open his tired eyes, finding himself feeling weightless. Coming to his senses felt almost euphoric as he waited for his vision to adjust. As it did, he began to notice that the dark was filled with tiny glowing speckles scattered throughout itself, but they were too far for him to touch. He drifted happily through the space, his insides blissful and warm. But then, out of the corner of his eyes, he noticed one blue sparkle drift closer to him. It presented itself directly infront of him, and was about the size of a softball. Instinctively he took it gently into his cupped hands and held it close to his heart. A feeling of peace and tranquility overcame him, letting him know that what was happening was right, and that there was no need to worry about anything ever again.
Sadly, to his dismay, the blue light began to flicker. Yuuya's stomach turned— his anxieties heightening. Before he knew it, the light went out, and it vanished completely. He desperately looked down at his empty palms, and then felt around in all his pockets: Nothing was found. The light was gone, and Yuuya felt the tears fall from his eyes. He sobbed, but there was only silence with him as he solemnly floated in his own personal outserspace.
The more his tears flowed the more the darkness gradually turned to light around him. He hardly noticed, but all the other lights in the distance began to fade out in the white that was enveloping Yuuya. Soon, he too began to vanish as well.

Yuuya's body jerked upright, sweat covering his forhead as he gasped for air.
"Oh?" a familiar, deep voice spoke from the side.
Yuuya looked around, slowly finding the space recognizable.
Le One sat crosslegged at the low table, drinking a hot beverage peacefully "You're finally awake".
"Le One, but-" Yuuya looked down at his stomach, lifting his white button up slightly, and felt around his belly.
Surely enough, there was a bandage, but the wound underneath it was not super tender to the touch like he assu.ed it'd be.
"How am I alive?" Yuuya blinked, turning his head to Le One.
"Well, you've always been alive I suppose," Le One began to answer "You were almost dead, but that still means that you were alive".
"But how?" Yuuya, while relieved, was still flustered by the whole situation.
"I found you and treated the wound instead of sitting there and watching you bleed out dry," Le One explained "I called in a few doctors now and then, but I just took care of you while you recuperated".
Yuuya held his breath, thinking very hard about what has happened to him, and what he thought he had left behind.
"Sakuya!" Yuuya tried getting up from the futon he was laying on.
Le One walked over to him, resting a hand on his shoulder to hold him down "There is no need to get up so hastily".
"But my little brother- that doctor is up to no good, and I need to make sure Sakuya is okay!" Yuuya panicked, straining the wound on his stomach.
