Chapter 1: Abduction

Detective Patrick Damon snuck into the building at the corner of the shadiest part of New York City. Him and his partner, Detective Jeffrey Harris, broke into the building with their guns out in front, ready to fire. Jeffrey was much more cautious on entry, while Patrick charged in. They could hear a slow clap coming from the distance. It echoed through out the building.
"WHERE IS BENSLEY JOSEPH!" screamed Patrick with his gun out pointing at the person who was clapping. He fired.

14 Months ago

It was a busy fall day at the police department of Chicago. Detective Patrick Damon was stressing over a case him and Jeffrey had been working on for weeks. He got a phone call.
"Excuse me?" the woman on the phone said, she sounded nervous "My name is Lauren Joseph my husbands gone missing!"
Great, Patrick thought, first the gang murder, now this.
"What's his name?" Patrick asked.
"Bensley Joseph." Lauren told him.
"How long has he been missing?" he asked.
"A little more than an hour." she explained.
"Yeah no thanks." Patrick said "Call back in three hours if he's still missing."
He hung up. Jeffrey than confronted him about their current case. "Tyrone Brown just called, confessing to Vinnie Delgado's murder."
"Excellent, let's go." Patrick said.
"Oh by the way." Jeffrey said while pushing his glasses back "You might wanna try being nicer one the phone. You sounded rude."
"Oh shut up." Patrick said shoving his partner aside heading towards the car outside.

Later they arrived at Tyrone's house with a team. They got out of the car. Jeffrey cautiously approached the house, while Patrick charged at the door and busted it open.
"This is the FBI! Tyrone Brown! You are under arrest!" Patrick almost immediately barked.
He found Tyrone in the room who was crying, pointing a gun at a girl.
"She caused this you know." he sobbed "If she hadn't broke my heart by watching Grey's Anatomy with that Vinnie guy, none of this would've happened."
"Wait, this isn't a gang murder?" Jeffrey asked who was now standing beside his partner.
"You killed someone over Grey's Anatomy?" asked Jason Avenue, an undercover cop who wanted to help catch the murderer "I mean it's not even that great of a show."
"Grey's Anatomy was our thing mother f***er!" Tyrone yelled looking at the girl he was holding hostage "And Grey's Anatomy is amazing!"
"Put the f***ing gun down!" shouted Patrick ready to fire.
He paused a moment, then shot Tyrone in the leg. The girl ran towards the detectives. Patrick slammed Tyrone on the ground screaming at him "You are under arrest for the murder of Vinnie Delgado! Now get in the car you piece of shit!"
He tossed him in a cop car and headed towards his own. Jeffrey came with him.
"You don't have to be so aggressive." Jeffrey said.
"Oh shut up." Patrick said driving back to the department.

When they arrived Chief Alberto Olson called him to his office. Sitting with the chief was a woman with brownish hair.
"Hi I'm Lauren, we spoke on the phone." the woman said.
"Damon" Chief Olson said "I've got a new case for you. Find Bensley Joseph."
