As you run through the tunnel to the stands, you hear the crowd roaring and the 2 teachers screaming through the speaker.
Y/N: Oh no, don't tell me the fight's finished already!
When you arrived at the far end of the tunnel, you get to see that once again, you missed the fight. You could see that Grace was lying down out of bounds and Heath was celebrating in the arena. You look at the holographic screen to see that Heath's aura was still in the green, while Grace was completely knocked out.
Y/N: Yikes, Heath didn't hold back!
Oobleck: (Over the speaker) Game, set, and match! A perfectly orchestrated win for Heath Slater!
Port: (Over the speaker) And that's the fastest match of the tournament! A record of 2 minutes and 43 seconds! This means that Heath will gain a bonus point.
Oobleck: (Over the speaker) And that confirms that Heath will be first in the brackets for the 1st stage. 2 wins, and an additional point. Do the maths folks!
The holographic screen above the stands flickers to show the brackets, with Heath being in first place. You and Mirage were tied for second, leaving Grace dead last. Heath has 5 points, you and Mirage were tied with 2, and Grace still has no points on the board.
Port: (Over the speaker) The final fights for the Singles Tournament will take place this evening! And how exciting will those matches be, it will be Heath versus Mirage and Y/N versus Grace!
Oobleck: (Over the speaker) Who will claim 2nd place? Find out later this evening! We will now take a short break.
Port: (Over the speaker) For those who are leaving, please LEAVE IN A CALM AND ORDERLY FASHION! And we will see you later!
The speakers cut out, and you could see the crowd start to leave the arena. With a disappointed sigh at yourself, you joined in with the crowd, kicking yourself at the fact you didn't get to watch the match.

As you hitched a ride back to Beacon Academy, you checked the time in your scroll. It was currently 2 PM, and seeing as your fight will start at 6, you decided to head to Beacon Courtyard to train for a while.
When you made your way over to the Courtyard, you ringed up Red for training.
Y/N: Red?
Red: Hey kid, what's up?
Y/N: My next fight's in 4 hours, mind helping me out?
Red: Sure! Be there in... 30 seconds!
Red then hangs up, and sure enough, after 30 seconds, he arrives at the Courtyard.
Red: 30!
Y/N: You really kept track of the time?
Red: Mhm, it's a daily routine.
Y/N: I... see...
Red: Anyways, you asked for training right?
Y/N: Yep! I'll be fighting my girlfriend later this evening, so you damn well know I'm gonna try my best to win.
Red: Oho, fight between lovers eh?
Y/N: I... guess so?
Red: Interesting. Well, from what I've heard, Grace uses range as her method of attack. So, we won't be practicing swordplay.
Y/N: Wait, what?
Red: You heard me, we'll need to do a different approach if you want to beat her.
