(Past, exactly 4 months before your birth)

It was a dark day for all those who lived on Remnant.

The rain poured down relentlessly, lightning flashing in the distance. Dark gray clouds loomed over the sky, seemingly to reflect what was a heavy weight of sorrow and grief.

Hundreds of black umbrellas bloomed, the mourners huddling around a coffin to pay their last respects to the departed soul.

Ruth Carter Calypso, a woman of young age, weeps and cries heavily as she mourns the loss of her husband, Apollo Carter. There he lies in his coffin, with a white veil covering his face.

As the funeral continues on, more of Apollo's friends show up. Relatives, family, and teammates alike.

This included his closest friend, Qrow Branwen.

As the old drunken bastard walks into the funeral, he shows signs of sadness, almost on the verge of tears. The scent of alcohol that normally lingers around him is gone, a rare sight to behold.

As the last invitee arrives, the coffin for the Prodigy closes. The last time people will ever see the trace of Apollo.

The coffin is lowered to the dug-up grave that has already been prepared, the gaping hole in the ground ready to bring him to the underworld.

The clouds continue to cry, sending droplets of water heavily to the ground, as if Mother Nature was also saddened by the loss of the huntsman. Sad music cuts through the wordless atmosphere, along with hymns of sorrow to respect the fallen.

As the ceremony nears its end, weeping and crying and sorrow infatuates the air. No one had a neutral or joyful expression on their face, everyone was devoided of such emotions.

Grimm could be heard growling in the background, but the cemetery walls were strong enough to keep them out.

The priest walks up to the front of the grave and does his speech.

"Friends, relatives, comrades alike. We are all different in our ways, but today, we have been brought here to commemorate our loss. Apollo Carter, the Prodigy, has passed. This day will go down in history, but, as long as you all live, be glad that he was here with us, instead of weeping about his loss."

The priest walks away, signalling his finished role. Applause erupts from the crowd, the deafening roar dedicated to the Prodigy.

The invitees, one by one, each of them performing speeches about their long, lost friend. The minutes turn to hours, the ceremony starting to dwindle to a close.

Moments pass, and the last notes to the final hymn end, signaling the ceremony's end. Some invitees turn home, while some overstay to recite their best wishes to the corpse of Apollo.

In the midst of this, Ruth reminisces her moments with her consort.

With more of the invitees leaving the cemetery, Ruth lets out all her bottled up emotions out. She gets on her knees, and with no care towards the rest of the invitees, she cries. Her weeps, the only thing heard in the air.
