Master Spirit's POV:

"Rise and shine, Master!" The animals woke me up from a restfully deep sleep in a magical tub.
"Good morning, my little spirit animals." I hugged all of them as I rose from the tub, smiling my heart out.
"How did you sleep?" Maira asked.
"Really well. I'm glad you guys surprised me with some breakfast."
"You're welcome, today is gonna be great with those fluffy little pancakes those robot servants made!"
"Why thank you." I smiled cheerfully, taking a bite out of the pancakes. "So how are all of the owners doing?"
"They're doing great." Nova answered. "They're actually amazing people to hang around with."
"But the question is that where were Raven and Darnell? They're considered to be us but are on the opposite side." Jack wondered.
"I suspect that the owner locked them up, so they can't escape to get you guys." I replied.
"Free them if you see them. They can't suffer any longer." Tripp pouted a little, concerned about the two animals' whereabouts.
"Eventually, we'll find the thief on who is responsible for their exploitation." I floated my way to use the surveillance computer, but I couldn't find a black or white dot on the screen as the colored dots only represent whenever a human with their spirit animal merge together. To my surprise, it was working a lot slower than usual, and somehow, all of the dots on the map were shut off. "What in the world? Is my computer glitching or is it just a dream?"
"I don't know. Let me restore it." Maira used a lightning power to electrify the computer, but the problem got worse when the computer glitched again until exploded into a I began to notice a beanstalk branch from faraway grew and crushed a window to pieces, making us feel frightened.
"It's the beanstalk." Jack informed, "It came back to haunt me after what I've done to it!"
"Not just you, it was us." Blaze said menacingly. "Remember what Tripp said earlier on how dangerous the real world is?"
"We must be concealed inside wherever we go. If lots of people took pictures of our route to go find somebody's house, they're probably going to make our secret public." Crystal noted.
"I don't mind getting my pictures taken," Coral shrugged, "it's just that we're never visible since we're immortal bodies resurrected from a war from thousands of years ago."

Janeira's POV:

While I was in my bedroom the whole time, with the nightlights still on from last night due to my darkness fear, I looked everywhere and scrambled through all my possessions to find Nova so I could say good morning.
"Nova?" I called her, but there was a sound of silence. "Nova, where are you?" Again, no sound was ever heard from her. It's like that I called her many times, but again, she probably left me for another kid. As I looked into the oak bookshelf, I found a sticky note attached to my favorite Wren Cumberbatch book, but it was written in mysteriously fancy letters.

   Janeira,

I'm so sorry that I left this note for you. You are taking another day off because I have a mission the Master assigned me to do along with your other spirit friends, but it told us that you don't need to transform. Take that time as an advantage to take care of yourself, your loved ones, and most importantly, I will be back whenever I come home.

                                                                   -Nova

Nova is leaving? Another day off? What does she mean by that? I thought to myself as I laid on my bed, holding the note at a high angle in one hand while I played with my bangs with the other one. Later, I spent the rest of the day putting on a unicorn helmet and a feather boa along with a green tutu. As I ran around the entire house, Miele laughed at me in the costume while she was texting someone on her phone and lying on the couch.
"You still play dress up at nine years old?" She teased carelessly. "I thought only three to six year olds do that."
"Miele, treat your sister more nicely." Mami scolded.
"I'm just here for some princess toast, do you have any?"
"Here's the last slice." She placed a piece of bread on a plate, letting me frost it with whatever we had in the kitchen.
"Thank you. Why does Miele have to be mean to me?"
"She's growing, but it's just that she doesn't usually see kids your age pretend play compared to toddlers."
"Does that mean I shouldn't wear this?" I looked down on my tutu, rubbing the cheap tulle between my fingers.
"Mija, dressing up in a funny costume is nothing to be ashamed of. We all do it at any point of our lifetime."
"I'm happy you understand me." I smiled, biting off the crust of the frosted toast. As my little twin sisters played dress up as well, but this time they were wearing coronation princess costumes of Prairina and Jackalope, along with their teddy bears, they began to notice me and begged Mami for more princess toast so they could copy me.
   "Where's Papi?" The twins asked.
"I'm here." He showed up, awake from a nap, but he was slathered in badly drawn makeup and his dark beard and hair was clipped into little bunches, with a few bows attached to them.
"Papi, what just happened to you?" Miele laughed at him as well, but this time, we all joined in.
"What are they doing?" He wondered, looking down to see his beard in short pigtails.
"Look in the mirror, you won't regret it!" I couldn't hold my laughter any longer. Papi went to a bathroom and screamed in embarrassment.
"Who did my makeup like that?" He began to laugh along, but Flora and Fauna just ran away from him as they got caught. On the TV nearby, there was also some shocking news that ruined the family time.
"Good morning from BSC News. I'm Markham Martin."
"And I'm Stella Vega. This morning, a giant villain was spotted to invade Nymphus and destroy as many buildings as possible."
"The exact cause of this scenario is unknown, but there is still no trace of Darkbird, who would've been suspected to be involved in it. Once the spirits defeat it again, they will have it under investigation."
"At the same time, there is a poisonous beanstalk that somehow grew in the middle of nowhere, reaching near the Rainshine Castle. Again, the cause was still unknown, but hundreds of people died in beanstalk accidents."
"What now? There's a beanstalk that grows in the middle of nowhere. And now it's hitting an isolated castle?" Miele repeated the dialogue from the news. "This is such a misconception!"
"You're not wrong at all, Miele." I nodded with an unamused face.
"It's beanstalk story!" Fauna squealed into surprise.
   "With Jackie?" Flora responded.
"So it's probably a 'Jack and the Beanstalk' kind of fight." I concluded, but as I looked closer to the beanstalk, I found a spherical orb with eight colors of glowing auras that were supposedly the spirit animals. (Whenever the spirit animals are caught on camera, only their auras are visible and never their real body as a side effect to the potion that revived them to live immortally.) That meant that I had to add more effort into the disguise costume to the point where I become unrecognizable to go out to the castle.
"Run to your rooms!" The giant's foot crushed an old, tattered and beaten house near the neighborhood I lived in. I covered my eyes and screamed my way up to my room, hopefully trying to confront the whole situation by dressing in more layers to finish the disguise I was planning to go for, along with the constellions Nova left behind.
