"Hey, guys," Griffin says, pulling the front door open after a few quick knocks. He yawns, pulls the door open wider, and gestures us to come inside.
"Thanks, man," Anthony sighs. They do that weird bro-hug thing, and then Griffin turns and hugs me.
"Yeah. You guys need anything?"
"No. Probably just going to sleep and then head to my place in the morning," Anthony says.
"Well, you guys know where the guest room is."
"Thanks," I whisper, slipping my hand into Anthony's and pulling him along behind me to the guest room. We fall onto the bed and have just enough time to take our shoes off before we fall asleep.

I wake in the morning and smell coffee. Looking around, I realize Anthony isn't in bed with me, so I get up and head down the short hall back to the kitchen. I stop when I get just outside.
"She was about to kill herself, Griffin," I hear Anthony say. "Her dad is some sexually abusive drunk creep."
"Oh, crap." A sigh. "I need more coffee for this conversation. You want some more, too?"
"Mhm." A few footsteps, and then coffee being poured into mugs. The cups being set back down and Griffin sitting.
"He sounds like an arse," Griffin sighs.
"He is. A drunk one." Anthony groans. "Left him passed out on the floor."
   "Good, good."
"I don't know if she'll want to take legal action once she turns 18 or not, but I think it would be a good idea. What he deserves."
"Yeah," Griffin replies. They both don't say anything for a few seconds, so I walk into the kitchen. Griffin notices me first. "Hey, pretty lady."
   "Hey."
"Good morning," Anthony says with a smile. I sit down next to him, and he wraps his arm around my shoulders.
   "Coffee?" Griffin asks. I nod.
"You doing okay?" Anthony whispers in my ear.
"I don't think I've ever been better, Ant."
