Part 19: Raw truth

Athena's POV
So we're back to square 1, Liam and I are back together but this time, it's real. It's like this time I'm not living a lie anymore, I'm not with Liam to manipulate him anymore, I genuinely feel connected to him now and that I can trust him.
I walk back upstairs to Harley and Is cabin hopping that her make out session with James is over, not that it's a bad thing, I'm really happy for them. They've been my friends while I'm here on earth and it's hard to believe that eventually my mission will come to an end and I'll have to say goodbye to them somehow. This time I make the wise choice to knock the door three times.
"Come in," I hear Harley's cheery voice
I step inside
"So, do you want to talk about what happened with James in here before or are you going to pretend that it never happened?" I ask
"I don't know what you're talking about," she says looking at the ground while making her bed
"Second option it is then," I sigh
"Look I know you and James made out before I saw," I say
I can see Harley start to blush at her cheeks
"I actually can't believe it happened!" She exclaims
"Oh my god Harley!" I run up to her and give her a big hug
"I knew he liked you back!" I say excitedly
"It was my first time!" She says
Wow.
Just wow.
Me and Harley have come a long way, when I met her on the first day of school and I told her to "chill" because she was acting way over the top and made me sit with her at the very front in religious ed. Then I left her for a while and then she came back around more relaxed and now she's just had her first kiss!
That night before I went to bed Liam knocked on my door to say goodnight which gave me a really warm feeling.
